Any interest in Evan Turner?

Post#1 » by LeonJordanJr24 » Thu Aug 1, 2013 12:35 am

He is 6'7 jack of all trades guard-forward who excels in the open floor with the ball in his hands. He could be a excellent replacement for Andre Iguodala. Sixers would be interested in bring back young players who might not get to play on your team like Quincy Miller, Jordan Hamilton and Anthony Randolph. Let me know would you all be interested...

I doubt they would want Turner, Igoudala was not really all that great of a fit on the team, and judging by their signings this summer they are wanting outside shooting in the backcourt.

I would do something like Randolph and Q Miller for Turner though, just don't see the Nuggets doing it.

Well we've traded for Philly's last two "star" SG's, so why not?

Either Randolph/Hamilton or Randolph/Quincy Miller would be tough to turn down, IMO. It'd help if we could unload one of our guards (Foye or Andre Miller) too.

I agree with RRFB. I think the Nuggets would not turn something like that down, but would want to unload another guard with Foye or Dre Miller being the prime candidates. Maybe you could send back your worst PG as the Nuggets 3rd PG.

I will be laughing all year long at this ignorant comment, if the Nuggets backcourt stays the same as it is right now.

First, I'm not sure what part of Rebel's comment you are taking the most issue with. What he said about Iggy was true. I back that completely. What he said about Turner I just don't think he fully explained. Sure the Nuggets would take Turner... but what would go back? The plan is to give Hamilton and Fournier their shot this year. But in theory the Nuggets are acquiring assets to make a big trade... so anything is possible.

I want to see how Fournier plays to start the season, if he disappoints then i'd trade for Turner at the trade deadline.

Return to Denver Nuggets
