Cheers for the info!

Biz should definitely follow this advice.

There was an old tight end for the panthers that had catching problems at one point. He went out and bought a jugs machine and has his wife fire footballs at him in the park to improve. I would love for him to be out there on the court with a coach firing dodgeball at him. He would learn to catch in no time.

a lot of it really is repetition, knowing where the ball will be based on its trajectory in a fraction of a second is an amazing feat for a computer to do, but for a human just requires more reps

That is what Wesley Walls did and he became a great pass catcher. Just get him out there and fire dodge balls at him. If he can learn to catch those he can catch anything. Also when he misses at the start it won't kill him.

Makes me nauseous that we have to teach a basketball player how to catch. There's a big difference between that and a receiver getting better at catching footballs.

It is just making him better and more consistent. Lots of guys bobble the ball early on in college and have to adjust. It is a matter of just putting in the work he should have had by now that he hasn't due to being new to the game. If he had played major college ball or even high level AAU as a kid he would be better by now. He is starting from way behind due to lack of experience. He has a great body for the NBA it is just catching his experience up with his physical ability.
