Yea i saw that.. it was by the same guy who posted the "NOLA bound tweet"... but here's the thing.. what is this "in the mix" business... the decision should have been made already.. i hope he's still not going back and forth with this.

Still in the mix was my own wording. The same guy who "heard" Oden was NOLA bound came back minutes later and said he's hearing Heat and NOLA. I posted the 2nd tweet to quell the sky is falling crowd who got a lil teary eyed after reading his first tweet. Point is Oden has already made his decision its just a matter of when its announced, most of these reporters dont know.

The HEAT are desperate for a C...but why would anyone get teary eyed over an injury prone-3 microfracture in the knee surgery-haven't played a lick of basketball in 4 years player?

You'd like to be able to take the chance on him given the situation but I lose no sleep over this one way or another.

Hey, even if we dont gwet him..at least we could get Mo Williams and Ivan Johnson with the MLE instead. Dont panic.

I don't watch a lot of Hawks games but from what I've seen, Ivan Johnson is Udonis Haslem 2.0. Is that a fair assessment because I don't have a feel for what kind of player he really is.

He is a hustle and energy player but i wouldn't say he is as skilled as UD, in terms of his jumpshot or around the rim game. He's one of those guys you throw in the bang and bruise.

From a goon standpoint yes, as an overall basketball player there's no comparison between the two. Ivan's a tough guy though and you can never have enough of those.

That's a very good comparison in almost every way. Skillset, Size, Toughness and Atitude.

I think he's just trying to tweet as many times as possible so that his tweet about Oden being NOLA bound is so far down that people can't see it. :lol:

I called "Heat Chicken" yesterday if you want to go back a few pages. I figured they kept announcing soft dates, then a hard date Friday, in an effort to scare the Heat into blinking. They want that extra 2 mill (and/or year).

the problem is goons serve no purpose in today's nba with the way games are officiated
there's nothing to fear on an nba court (except lebron on a fastbreak)
