**** no, I would not do that. Noel is essentially an upgraded Bismack with bad knees and Young is marginal. I might consider that if they swap Noel for a top 5-7 pick in 2014.

The only scenario I consider trading MKG is if we land Jabari Parker or Julius Randle and need to trade MKG for a 2-guard. I think Wiggins and MKG could co-exist.

Also every Evan Turner trade needs to stop here. No way in the world are we downgrading MKG to him and there is no chance they can co-exist.

I would trade MKG if we landed Wiggins, and I would have probably traded him for the Pelicans' #6 pick 2013/unprotected 2014 package that was almost proposed. But other than that, no use giving up on a player with elite skills, physicality and size before his 2nd season

I think Wiggins can be a SG in the NBA, but that's another topic for a different day.

How about Rudy Gay for Protected 2nd round pick + filler?

I don't want Gay, or his contract at all. His contracts an absolute killer.

I'd take this:

Rudy Gay, Ross, unprotected Raptors 1st
for
Ben Gordon, filler

this basically means that there is no way Gay is ending up on our team. and I agree that it should be that way. either it's a trade Ujuri would hate or it's a supposedly reasonable trade, yet we wouldn't want to take on his contract.

You have to add an unprotected 1st and Masai Ujiri from their end, and Rod Higgins from our end to make us consider.

You can have Bryan Colangelo in a sign and trade and Rudy Gay for a 2099 2nd rounder

We don't even have a unprotected 1st to give. Chicago still own ours.

I think it's implied we'd be the ones receiving an unprotected first.

your dreaming goof. Gay has an opt out. Bobcats just blew a chance at Wiggins for Al Jefferson, your management team could do anything.

Just ignore them. They're worse than Piston fans.

Basically the Raptors want to dump Rudy Gay in order to tank for Wiggins and think they can get us to help them get Wiggins.

If you guys want Wiggins this bad, your proposals should reflect it.

So we take on one of the worst contracts in the NBA, help you tank for Wiggins....

And what do we get for it?

Anything good?

You're getting cap space and a top 3 pick.

We lose cap space and get?
It has been written...

Any trade that isn't Rudy and some protected 1st to Charlotte for Ben Gordon is a bad offer Toronto.

Toronto sheds $4 mil and Gays last year, Charlotte gets something for Ben. Doesn't mean it should happen, it shouldn't. Just thats the most likely.

So I have been thinking of some ways to net us an above average shooting guard as I still think until Hendo proves otherwise he is best served as a 6th man. I came up with one option below:

Charlotte would trade Biz & the Detroit/Portland/Charlotte 2014 1st round pick (I know the Bulls own the rights and we can't trade it until we definitely have it, but this deal could still make sense around the draft)

In return we would get Klay Thompson, I would even throw in a second rounder depending on the situation in the future.

Why for Charlotte: Charlotte need shooting and Thompson brings that in abundence, he also has good enough handles and vision to play some point which would still allow Kemba to play off the ball at times (like Curry does). The only issue is Thompson would be coming up for free agency (unless he signs an extension between now and then, if so then obviously the salary issues would change)

Why for GSW? Iggy could slide to the two, Barnes could move back into the starting line up as a SF and they could use the 1st round pick on a CHEAP player who would be able to contribute, maybe one of Joel Embiid, Cauley-Stein or Mitch McGary who could be their longterm replacement for Bogut. With the young guys on their roster I could see GSW running into the same problem OKC did with Harden. This trade would also give them Biz as an defensive spark plug off the bench, a role like that would suit him best in GSW where he can focus on defence and shot blocking while letting others score.
