So I have been thinking of some ways to net us an above average shooting guard as I still think until Hendo proves otherwise he is best served as a 6th man. I came up with one option below:
Charlotte would trade Biz & the Detroit/Portland/Charlotte 2014 1st round pick (I know the Bulls own the rights and we can't trade it until we definitely have it, but this deal could still make sense around the draft)
In return we would get Klay Thompson, I would even throw in a second rounder depending on the situation in the future.
Why for Charlotte: Charlotte need shooting and Thompson brings that in abundence, he also has good enough handles and vision to play some point which would still allow Kemba to play off the ball at times (like Curry does). The only issue is Thompson would be coming up for free agency (unless he signs an extension between now and then, if so then obviously the salary issues would change)
Why for GSW? Iggy could slide to the two, Barnes could move back into the starting line up as a SF and they could use the 1st round pick on a CHEAP player who would be able to contribute, maybe one of Joel Embiid, Cauley-Stein or Mitch McGary who could be their longterm replacement for Bogut. With the young guys on their roster I could see GSW running into the same problem OKC did with Harden. This trade would also give them Biz as an defensive spark plug off the bench, a role like that would suit him best in GSW where he can focus on defence and shot blocking while letting others score.
