Corliss Williamson
He has just become an assistant coach for the Kings. I enjoyed him as a player but can't see him being a great coach. Thoughts???
I hope I'm wrong... Good luck Corless!!

"Big Nasty"...glad to see him finding work. I don't see how it hurts to have him there? Maybe he can show Boogie how to crash the paint like a bull in a china shop?

Re: Corless Williamson
I often overlook Corliss when thinking about that team. I tend to think of guys like Memo, Elden, Lindsey, and James first, yet Corliss was actually our 6th man and probably deserves more credit for me. It would've been cool to have him on our bench as a coach. I think he will help Cousins' low post game. With Rasheed here we didn't really need two 1st time assistants though. We still have 1 more assistant coach to fill thought I think. Wonder who we will be adding, also does anyone know who our lead assistant is going to be?

When I think of Corliss I always regret that we had to cut him to save money after the championship. We might have repeated with him on the ultra thin bench we went with in 2005. TBH I have not the slightest clue as to whether he can coach; why don't you think he would coach well?

I'll always remember this game. soph year of HS we went 10 deep in the upper deck...couldnt see SH*T but went for the experience.
Corliss and Jon Barry...we need players with heart coming off the bench again.

Corliss does not get enough love. He was a BULL down on the post man. Such a winner, and had a ton of passion.

Amen. BIg Nasty would simply come in, and get buckets. Talk about a great sixth man.

Yeah I used to love him as a player. I'm happy to see him working, sadly it's in the worst franchise in the NBA but oh well.

Because the only thing he did was put the ball in the hole. He'd come in off the bench and the second he touched the ball it was never passed again. Don't get me wrong, I loved Nasty. He was a very effective low post player, I just don't see how that's going to be applied to X's & O's. Nasty had a big ole butt and knew how to use it to get to the hole. You can't teach that!!!

You can't teach post moves? Footwork? Post position? Really? They have a guy in Sacremento by the name of Cousins that would be served well to learn some things from Corliss. The fact you think every assistant coach on an NBA bench is responsible for some X's and O's is quite odd. Most assistant coaches are there to help in player development.
