Lol dude I literally thought the same thing. I was actually gonna start it myself and just put the disclaimer I'm starting it for whoever was going to do it themselves, and can ask whether we should sign him there.
It's amazing how every player waived gets a thread.

 I threw his name out there in the SG thread, but he actually does make a little bit of sense if we cant find someone better.

stevenson does actually make some sense, but it's just funny how this always happens when a player gets waived.

I was thinking the same thing as I was posting, but we need somebody who can eat up some minutes at the 2. it'll help ease the pressure on KCP and keep Stuckey mostly on the ball.

true. He's a capable 2 guard until KCP is ready to take on minutes.
I'm happy to roll with SG by committee using Stuckey/Billips/KCP/Singler though.
hopefully get Slava back and leave a roster spot open in case we make a trade later on.
Stevenson isn't that much of an upgrade IMO.

^ he's 32 now so im not sure how hes looking lately, but he was a very good defender at one time. if he's fallen off on D then I agree, but with Jennings/Moose/Smoove out there hes not going to have to score much. if he can hit 3s at a 37% clip next year I think he'd be a good fit in our starting lineup. I wouldn't expect him to play starters minutes, but if KCP isn't ready to start he'd be a much better fit in our SL than Stuckey.

I don't think we have a need for Harrington, but I just love the fact that we are once again a legit destination for veterans who get bought out and are seeking a contender to join. This time last year we would have no chance at getting any good vets to choose here on minimum deals. Now we at least can join the proverbial conversation, and these vets will at least seriously entertain offers from us if we are interested. Not that we are true contenders, but we at least are a legit team now where a good veteran might think 'maybe I can be a piece that gets them over the hump into contention'.

And if you can say something like this, you probably don't need said player.

Cv or al as our backup four. That's what it comes down to
Pistons vs. Warriors in the Finals in 2017 - With KCP hitting a game winner so the Pistons dont get swept.
