Please rank these teams 1, 2, and 3 based on who has the best combination of team chemistry, offense, defense, intangibles, and the gm's word. Everyone and anyone is welcomed to vote, you need not have a team in this contest to vote. Feel free to provide a 1-2 sentence explanation of your rankings if you wish.
Remember every player is in their prime.
Here are the rosters for your consideration:

hermes:

Spoiler:
pg: slater martin
sg: sasha vujacic
sf: vern mikkelsen
pf: rudy larusso
c: clyde lovellette
6th man: robert horry

coach: brad stevens

team with a championship pedigree and ton of experience getting the job done when it counts the most. lots of defensive tenacity with slater and vern being some of the best defensive players of their eras, and sasha known for being a hustling pest that will get after you. clyde and rudy provide major scoring punches down low, and big shot bob is one of the clutchest players ever to live and always steps up to make the play that needs to be made in crucial situations. this group allows stevens plenty of flexibility with lineups and playing styles as horry and vern can play both forward spots, rudy can be pf or c, and clyde with his outside shooting can go anywhere from sf to center. stevens' defensive, team oriented approach is an excellent compliment to this group that is above average defensively, willing to work hard and work together to win

BJGOAT3

Spoiler:
Ron Harper
Gail Goodrich
Orlando Woolridge
Karl Malone
Elden Campbell

6th Man: Horace Grant

HC: Brian Shaw

Overall, I think my team is a good synthesis of the regular Karl Malone oriented offense with the triangle offense. Since Shaw has the knowledge of the triangle and Ron Harper played the point guard duties under Phil later in his prime, the team has portions of the triangle offense as an option. On top of that prime Harper + Woolridge are athletic players with the ability to run the court efficiently, which could be similar to Denver Nuggets of today, Shaw's current team. On top of that Goodrich is a great offensive option and a shooter who can space the floor, I envisioned a good pick and roll duo in him and Malone. As a result I've got a good variety of offensive sets to break down great defenses. I have a good competitor in Horace Grant who is also good with the triangle, I have to play Campbell at C due to the shortcomings of my team however this also provides a team with good capability to run the floor. In conclusion, I believe this is a solid team that can give trouble to every defensive strategy.

KB89:

Spoiler:
C - Shaquille O'Neal
PF - Dennis Rodman
SF - Ron Artest
SG - Lou Hudson
PG - Charlie Scott
6th Man - Antawn Jamison
Coach - Rick Carlisle

This team is loaded both on offense and defense. Let's start off with the most vital piece to the team, and that is Shaq. Shaq was an incredibly dominant force in his prime. He would be the vocal point of our offense, and shut down the lane on defense. Dennis Rodman is a perfect player to have on a team loaded with such offensive fire power. He is a rare superstar that knew where he thrived, accepted that, and gave it his all in these areas every game. His defense and rebounding skills are unmatchable, and his knack of getting in opposing players heads was an area of his game that is often over looked. The final member of my starting front court is Ron Artest, an elite defender, a good scorer, and an effective three point shooter. Artest in his prime was a shut down defender, and is absolutely a crucial piece to this team to shut down the opposing team's best perimeter player. Antawn Jamison is a spark plug off the bench, who even won 6th Man of the Year award once, so he's clearly comfortable in that role. He would help create space in the lane for Shaq, since he is an excellent stretch four. This front court has everything I feel; and would hold an advantage over any front court.

For my back court, Lou Hudson is an elite shooter, which was really needed for this team. He was a 6 time Al-Star, averaged 27, 6, and 3 in his prime, and is an overall great guy and an excellent teammate. Charlie Scott has great size for a PG at 6’5”, was a 5 time All-Star, and had career averages of 21, 5, and 4. This backcourt has a good combination of scoring, play making, shooting, and size.

Rick Carlisle has been a winner everywhere he’s gone, and has led teams to thrive at the defensive side of the ball everywhere he’s been. His game plans and coaching led to the Mavericks upsetting the Heat in the Finals. Given this roster, I know he would be able to get it to reach its full potential and help mold this team into the best in the league.

hermes roster isn't quite on par, specially when you're talking about physical specimens like shaq and malone going up against players from such a long ago era. i went with kb89 over bj cause he had the unfortunate luck of having to matchup against a gm with dennis rodman on the roster able to combat against karl.

KB89's roster is just my favorite of the three. Shaq and Rodman patrolling the paint is surreal.

I think it's the best team out of all the competition, not just this bracket.....the defense is absurd, the frontcourt is locked and the perimeter is secured by Artest

The offense is outstanding as well, you can slide in Jamison at the PF to stretch the floor and the backcourt is underrated....wasn't really fond of the rules to get all the players in their prime because 4 out of the 6 guys on this team played sparingly for the Lakers but the rules are the rules
And Charlie Scott and Lou Hudson may be unknown for some guys but they were 20 ppg career scorers....the guys could play

i just dont like the lack of a consistent pick n roll/creator on the perimeter of BJGOATs team. i dont think malone is good enough to carry it. shaq/rodman/artest is pretty scary defensively.

Hermes' team is a joke compared to the others. BJ's team is nice but Artest+Rodman+Shaq who the **** is scoring on that team. Not to mention his offense plus just having Shaq in general

1. KB89, nice team, but i has slighty doubt about the ball distribution, Shaq can pass in triangle, but can he now ?
2. BJGOAT3 really good team, but has poor spacing. This team would be flourishing in transitition offense, but Shaw is a triangle coach
3. hermes, will chose him #2 if he has better coach.

1. KB89 - I like 4 out of his 6 player picks, and his best player is Shaq. Very good squad. Love the defense, rebounding, but would question the egos meshing.
2. BJGOAT - Gotta love Karl Malone, but feel that he probably would be better in a more pick n roll oriented offense. Sounds like the GM wanted to go a different route though.

Perimeter play might be a little suspect on KB89's team but the frontcourt is just loaded. Good luck accomplishing anything in the paint against that duo.

BJGoat wins against Hermes by default. If Hermes hadn't wasted his first pick on Sasha I might have voted for him lol. Sorry Hermes. :-/
