I think he makes sense for this team. Its going to be an offensive minded team. He fits next to Hill or Gasol. I think the "dirt worker" type players are going to be the young big men the Lakers are bringing in on camp invites/partially guaranteed contracts (Harris, Williams, etc). You assume one of those (I think there are 3 or 4 of them now) guys becomes a consistent rotation guy and maybe another gets minutes as well. I think the roster/lineup makes sense this season. It will have to be a bit more of a high energy team off the bench...which will be a nice change. Harrington will provide much more explosive/consistent 3 pt shooting then Jamison did last year as well.

This might make sense for the Lakers since Harrington is a talented score and an adequate defensive player. That said it makes no sense for Harrington who is more likely to go to a contender not a team fighting for a 7th or 8th seed in the West.
