OT: Miami Dolphins vs. Cowboys

Post#1 » by GameTime_3 » Sun Aug 4, 2013 10:38 pm

8pm

What do you expect?

5 Things for me;
Dion Jordan- What do we have?
O-Line- Can it be solid enough for Tannehill
D-Fense- Do we miss a beat or do we start off fast
Running Backs- How do the backs look? All 3 have questions.

I know it's just the "pre-season",but it's already looking like it's going to be another long season.

Does anybody else feel like Philbin, doesn't have any business being a head coach? He just looks lost on the sideline, every time the camera pans to him.

Every time he stepped on the field you can tell the talent. I'm excited about the guy.

One things for sure, its pre-season..

i dont take too much credence with pre season games in the NFL. its basically a try out for unproven players to make final cuts and veterans to get in game shape if anything. remember theres about 90 guys on the dolphins roster right now, they have to cut that down to 53 by next month

honestly we looked bad out there. I didnt get to see the fourth quarter where we scored some points but the offensive line looks bad. recievers causing turnovers. The passes seemed like floaters and too soft. I did like some of the throws out of the backfield and some of the running by Mike Gillesle. That Shelby guy on defense looked good and so did our first round pick he looks like he could be a stud. We seemed to be flying around the field on defense especially close to the line; guys were getting there but they were not wrapping up tackling at all.

Other than that it is clear we need serious work on the offensive line if we expect Tannerhill or any of our running backs and recievers to have a chance. The special teams needs work as well. As well as we finished last year I expected more from this preseason game. I dont care if its exhibition I want them to go out and try to dominate.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Exclude daniel thomas.............but for the rest of the backs they all looked very good.....except the first play on offense of course.

Speaking from experience, NEVER WATCH THE FIRST PRESEASON GAME. Especially if you are looking to see how the team is going to look. If you want to get short glimpse of how the team may look, it may only come in the third game. Game 1,2 and 4 of the preseason is practice and tryout for the bottom of the bench or rookies and their individual performances.

Much better game for us tonight. Aggressive passing and taking shots down field. and that kicking battle looks like a wrap, rookie Caleb Sturgis out of Florida booted a 58 yarder. Things are looking up.
