Who are you laying $$ on this year

Post#1 » by BayAreaTreyArea » Mon Aug 5, 2013 9:49 pm

Miami is 110 odds to win the east. Not great considering Indy took them to seven in the ecf. Detroit is 10,000 to win the east. A waste of $100 if you ask me but as a fan I'm still tempted to put $10 to make the season more fun. I think the 6 to 1 odds it will be okc vs Miami in the finals is the best bet out there.
Pistons vs. Warriors in the Finals in 2017 - With KCP hitting a game winner so the Pistons dont get swept.

Who is giving 10,000 to 1 odds on Detroit to win the East? I'll put $100 down for sure. If they win the East, that's a million dollars! I just don't believe any legit bookie is giving those odds.

Sportsbook.com has them at 10,000 to 100. That's what I was referring to in my post.

Miami has all the reasons to win a bet. I just don't like that they were taken to 7 in the ecf and finals. Plus they lost a playoff hero mike miller. But I'd be a fool to choose against them.

Miami for sure. When you have the best player on your team who is possibly the greatest to ever play the game, another top five player in Wade, and Chris Bosh the perfect complimenting shooting big men to go with a strong supporting cast, you have to choose the Heat. Also, it does not hurt that they have gone to 3 straight finals.

I'd put money on either Indy or Chicago to win the east.

Its almost a foregone conclusion that Miami is 3peating, especially if they got their Center position settled now if Oden is healthy/ Whatever the odds are for Miami winning it all thats what Id put my money on. I think a good Pistons bet might be the over/under on wins, because a lot of writers seem to be not buying into the Pistons. I hear a lot of .500/8th seed talk and if that's the over/under I'd bet on the over no doubt. Its hard to see this team not finishing with a winning record.

Agreed. I'm def keeping an eye on the W/L for the Pistons. I gamble rarely but that seems to be an ideal bet.

LVH Superbook has us at 100-1 odds to win it all. They were 300-1 on June 20, so the wiseguys know that Dumars did a good job this summer.
