Coaching Staff
Wiretap says Woj has Popeye Jones joining the staff. Don't know a think about him as a coach but a young former player would seem to fit our needs.

Re: Coaching Staff
Could be a big man coach. I kinda remember him getting arrested lately for drunk driving.

Re: Coaching Staff
I dont know much or have much of an opinion about Jones. But I like the idea of him having previous experience with the Nets. He wasnt a great player; but some of the best coaches ever have been guys who werent the most talented.

That's because the the smartest ones sit near the coaching staff and take in as much info as possible (Rick Carlisle for example).
I remember that Jones was in a huge trade about 10 years ago... Maybe Antawn Jamison to Dallas?

It's all in the eyes Chico.
If anything can distract me from his ears it's his eyes.
He looks half-crazy.

Re: Coaching Staff
Once he's in the bench he should limit his smiling. He could get a technical.

Yeah, if yelling "Ball Don't Lie" can get Shaw a tech, I can only imagine what a smile would get for Popeye.....
