3Si is in. He takes number 2.

I take number 11.

Edit:

Whoops, 11 is taken. I'll take 8 then.

since maybe it's the regular season we can do it 4 and then reduce it to 3 in the playoffs. I think that's better, not restricting too much, letting it a little loose during the regular season. If a few more guys like it as well, let's put it to a vote.

No objections here.

I don't think both seasonal AND weekly limits are available. That said, I think we should keep it at 45 for the entire season, if not more.

I object to the additional 3 per week. There simply was no effect on the balance of the league by any attempts to stream at the end (I don't think anyone streamed) 45 limit for the season ( 2 per week) is punishing enough to limit streaming, lets not limit the adds even further.
As we discussed, the real stream problem was in the playoffs.
I say we keep everything the same but implement Blake's suggested limit during the playoffs.

I'd love for the rule to be unlimited adds/drops with teh limitation that you can't add a player who's team has more games remaining that week than the one you dropped.

Can we get that as an option in Yahoo Floppy?

you can have both a weekly and seasonal acquisition limit and both are enforced independently. I have no objection to adding a weekly add limit on top of the 45 season limit.

I take 14.

And if I get a draft pick 16 or below for the 5th year, I'm really going to have to hold someone responsible.

Ok, this is where we stand.

I know all four of our hold outs are in, probably just out of town this week or something. If I don't hear from them by Thursday for their number, I will assign them numbers and run the lottery Thursday night.

as long as a team has 3 or more scrubs, the manager can add/drop 10 times in a week, to create an advantage for his team.

just tell me under what circumstance would you absolutely need more than 4 adds a week?

and we already had the playoff limit last year.

You're making it too complicated. Why not just do a weekly limit and that's it? Otherwise, just do a seasonal limit. Remember, this is still a 20 team league where streaming can hurt a team as much as it can help.

I'd be fine with either a weekly or a seasonal, but not both.

complicated? really? complicated?
you can't add more than 45 players in a season and can't add more than 4 players in a week. HOW ON EARTH is that complicated? that's just an excuse to object against it. I hope you had a valid reason behind it. Other than inclination towards streaming I don't see how 4 players a week limit can affect your opinion about this.

you know what's complicated? Jazzfan's suggestion:

Let's not argue. We already know different managers have different preferences on this. I think we all know where everyone stands, and if bww wants to propose a change we can just vote on it and move on to playing fantasy basketball FFL. w00t!
