Schedule Released

Post#1 » by Nolan » Wed Aug 7, 2013 12:21 am

http://blog.mysanantonio.com/spursnation/2013/08/06/mark-your-calendars-spurs-fans/

From a nationally televised Christmas Day game against the Dwight Howard-infused Rockets to a New Year’s Eve celebration featuring the reconstructed Nets to a historic game to be played south of the Rio Grande, the Spurs’ 2013-14 schedule offers plenty of red-letter dates worth circling.

Upon the formal unveiling of the NBA docket Tuesday, however, all most Spurs fans really wanted to know was this: When is the rematch with the now-hated Miami Heat, who absconded with their third championship at the Spurs’ expense last June.

(Answer: Jan. 26 in Miami, March 6 in San Antonio).

I cant wait for next spring.

Funny, but I really couldn't care less about a Miami game unless it's because we were both back in the finals.

I see we get a nice 6 day break during the circus trip this year, and another 5 day break before we play a home after. That should help Pop's rotation and go easy on the older guys.

Those breaks are going to make a massive difference.
