Hillis, rookie RB Mike James(Bucs 2013 6th rd pick) and Brian Leonard will compete in training camp for the backup RB job behind Doug Martin.
The Bucs brought in Hillis yesterday for workouts, they also brought in DT Tommie Harris and TE Visante Shiancoe. No word if Harris and or Shiancoe were signed.

I would love to see Hillis stick around. If healthy, he'd give quality depth.

I'd like to see the Bucs with 3 rbs this season, Martin, Hillis and Mike James. Hillis would also be the primary backup at FB to Lorig.

Although preseason games dont mean anything, I still have concerns over the defensive front 7
