Not sure about Stroman. More likely Nolin. Drabek and Hutchinson likely in September. Drabek starts for NH tomorrow.
Happ did quite a number on Arencibia in warmup today - team may put JPA on the DL. Question is, then who replaces JPA. Both Buffalo catchers are not on the 40-man roster, but as Griffin notes, Jimenez is on the 40-man. So there is a chance we will see a prospect catcher before we see a prospect pitcher.

Re: Blow Jays at Marinara (Aug 5-7)
Please, for the love of god, stop talking about Arencibia and Thole. We're playing out the string and neither player should be on this team if we have any serious hopes of contending next year. Find somebody else that can catch a knuckleball because Thole has absolutely zero redeemable qualities and I don't care what the hell his OBP was last year or in the minors. If this team goes into next year with either of them behind the plate then you might as well write the entire year off.

Jimenez is having a woeful six weeks; fifteen days in the bigs wouldn't kill him, but he ain't ready or close to it. But we're definitely running out of expendable guys on the extended roster, so it really comes down to whether it's worth exposing Storey or Weber -- who are doing well enough in AAA that they might get claimed -- to stick Nickeas on the bench for a couple weeks.

**** your asterisk.

I'm sure Bonifacio can catch.

We need an experienced catcher.
What do you guys thinking about signing Brian McCann in the offseason as a free agent?
He's much better that what we have now.

Likely will cost money Rogers won't spend to do that.
