Because Chicago is the #3 TV market in the country only behind NY and LA and the Miami/Ft Lauderdale market is only middle of the pack (#16).

Also, that you do not like the schedule is one thing but you feel disrespected? 3rd class organization? Come on now.

Ok the 3rd class organization was a little to far, but come on since we've been contender's 33 games was the norm even back to the to the Shaq days. As far as I know we're still the best team, still have the best player & still play the most exciting style of basketball, so I fell a little shafted with just 26 games. Back in 08-09 season we had 18 with just dwyane wade

For a back to back Champion, the #6 most National tv games IS a disrespect. IMO this is comparable to the Hibbert jumping straight-up created on the fly rule against us with the arms clearly bent forward. In other words, a way for the league to say F*** you we don't like you.

Yeah, it's kinda BS how few national games we have. Doesn't really matter though we always win those "Fan Night" things on NBAtv.

The market excuse shouldn't apply in the national game regard, everyone watches the Heat for one reason... to see them lose (other than Heat fans of course).

From what I've heard, the league is trying to create league wide parity in terms of television coverage through 82 games.

If you haven't noticed, Detroit/Sacramento, New Orleans/Phoenix, Detroit/Orlando, Atlanta/Milwaukee are all nationally televised games.

All of the league's contenders are pretty fairly even in terms of overall TV games. The Lakers are getting exposure still because, It's the Lakers unfortunately. They would have to lose Kobe in order to be treated like a lower class team. The Spurs have 15 national televised games after being in a Game 7 with the Heat, so it's not personal.

Is it me or does the 1st month of the season (outside of Chicago, Brooklyn, and LAC) seem like a cakewalk. I feel like it could be a definite help to get off to a good start. I expect to be 14-2 through November.

This is how I see this possibly playing out.

October
W- vs Chicago
W- @ Philadelphia

November
L- @ Brooklyn
W- vs Washington
W- @ Toronto
L- vs L.A. Clippers
W- vs Boston
W- vs Milwaukee
W- vs Dallas
W- @ Charlotte
W- vs Atlanta
W- @ Orlando
W- vs Orlando
W- vs Phoenix
W- @ Cleveland
W- @ Toronto

Stop worrying about televised games. Miami@Charlotte was moved to a national spot last year...we're doing just fine

On paper sure, i think a win @ Nets is likely due to them getting used to each other. Chances are we will drop games we don't expect.
