Mobile app banner ads mis-clicking

Look, I work for a mobile app and I know you can generate quite a lot of additional revenue by gaming the banner ads to cause higher rates of miss-clicks. But the RealGM app is one of the worst perpetrators I've seen in quite some time. The ads popup several seconds after landing on a new page and right about the time I'm ready to click on the reply input text box. It's really annoying. Again, I realize banner miss-clicks are nice revenue drivers short term, but the long term consequence of practices like that is a lower retention rate. Make the banner ads less sneaky, or put them at the top of the app. Please.

I have the same problem. It might have more to do with tapatalk who I think makes the RealGM app though?

Seems to be an issue with the iPad app only, since the chat box is always visible at the bottom. On my Nexus 7 I don't have this issue, because you have to click on the menu to access it.

Seems to be an inherent problem in any custom forum apps

This is exactly the case. I'm behind on integrating the latest update, so maybe that will fix things.
