What do you look at to merit winning a Cy Young, then?

No it's not. It's Pierzynski doing a **** job catching it and then framing it. It crosses the plate at the knees.

ERA is #1 to me.
then i work backwards from there as to things that could affect it or have a significant effect on it (ball park, defense)....so as not to shut the door on anyone who isn't #1 in ERA.

then i think I go.
IP
CGs/ Shutouts
Innings per start.

all in the same mix there.

and then the real #1...wins and losses.
just kidding.

Either I'm losing it, or I'm not a Rangers fan, because I thought that was a pretty clear ball.

it was a strike, one that's not always properly called (the low ones tend to be missed the most often) but it was a strike.

also f*ck that sack of sh*t ump for tossing aj the way he did, cum stain shouldve walked away but instead got right into aj's grill.

anyways, a couple innings later darvish struck out matt dominguez on a strike out that was a clear ball 4. idk if it was a make up call or not

Its where it crosses the.plate. Definitely caught the lower half of the strike zone.

AJ's probably not going to get the benefit of the doubt in too many cases.

Fear is....

That moment you realize you've been down talking Matt Harv for Cy Young the last couple weeks and now he's facing your team.

According to you the Mets will be winning the division next season, right? And it's laughable to think otherwise? :D

What?

No.
It's laughable to think the dynamics of a division will be such that it won't change over the next 2 seasons.

The cupboard is not bare for the Mets. They'll be contending for that division sooner rather than later.

2015 for sure.

Mets could be good. Who knows? I expect the Nats to bounce back next year, and the Braves should remain strong. You gotta figure the Phillies will reload at some point too(though they screwed the pooch not trading Utley, Howard, etc. this past deadline if they had the opportunity).

 at those predictions. Then again I had Nats over Angels in the World Series. :(

All but 4 of those people chose the Nats to win the division over the Braves. Good to prove the doubters wrongs

Kneel Harvey!

2 ER on him after 5?
well...he can still have a solid start....but this is no driver's seat/get the keys outing for him anymore.
