Skins starters for the most part looked good in Week 1. Three rookies in the secondary struggled though, but the offense was basically in mid-season form. I know it's only preseason but I'd rather look good than look like crap.

Pat "The Bat" White looked amazing running that zone read. Gotta love pre-season.

Should be a good test agaisnt the Steelers on MNF. Hopefully Cousins can keep looking sharp and the D shows some improvement.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Damontre Moore looked fantastic for the Giants on Saturday night. Blocked a punt, had some good tackles and pressured the QB. If he keeps it up, he could very well be the steal of this year's draft.

The running game looked awful, though. I still think we should have kept Bradshaw around because he injected some good energy into the backfield and helped the young guys. Hopefully David Wilson can break out and make himself a force, or revive some Thunder & Lightning play with Andre Brown.

I'm watching the Lions/Browns for professional purposes but for some reason I really want to see the Bears/Chargers. I think both those teams struggle to win 6 but I'm looking for a reason to think otherwise. Those OLs are terrible & DLs are good, might see some big hits on whiny QBs, which is always fun.

Also curious how the Raiders shuffle the OL with Veldheer out. Might be a Menelik Watson sighting.

Cardinals fan but I think that steal of draft honor is going to go to Tyrann Mathieu this dude is not 3rd round talent. Yeah he fell because off field issues thats still a steal he is just getting raved about around the league not just one team.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Jay Cutler getting sacked twice on the opening drive......what else is new. Alot of two and three step drops the following drive worked out pretty effectively though.

Today I learned: Josh McCown is still employed by an NFL team.

Next thing you'll tell me David Carr is still getting paid to be a body attached to a clipboard...

...oh wait.

The Chargers have some great names: Fozzy Whittaker, Mike Willie, Jamarkus McFarland, Bront Bird.

They may not be heavy on talent, but they've got some fun names to say.

One last note from me on the Bears/Bolts that doesn't really have anything to do with the game: Trent Dilfer is an absolutely awful color guy. He's making John Madden sound like Walter Cronkite.

He's also performing no-contact fellatio on Brian Urlacher right now. It's terrible.

Forte looked kinda slow on that 50 yard run.

He got chased down by Shareece Wright, who first had to get up off the ground before catching Forte.

Forte's 40 time coming out of college: 4.44
Wright's: 4.41

Well, Atlanta has at least "won" the starter battle each game. I think it was only 3-0 against Cinci, but 20-7 against Baltimore. Looked pretty good other than one long TD play. Really just praying for health and the young OL to step up. That would make the Falcons even better than last year.

I think I'm going to have to put some money down on the Oakland under. WOW they are looking atrocious.

Watching Pats/Bucs and it's Ryan Mallett vs. Mike Glennon, two QBs I've been unusually harsh upon in the draft process. Not gonna lie, I'm rooting for lots of INTs and panicked chucks from those immobile oop-de-doops.

That's not fair to Glennon. He's a bright guy and has some pretty impressive game tape. Wildly inconsistent. I have nothing nice to say about Ryan Mallett so I'll quietly sip my Captain and Pepsi

Did Bill Belichick really opt for a 2-pt conversion on the first touchdown of goddamn preseason game?

I'll be honest, I didn't expect EJ Manuel to make such a smooth transition at the pro level. He has looked sharp through two preseason games, it's his job to lose at this point.

Mathieu is starting to look like the biggest steal of the draft. He's one hell of a playmaker with a nose for the ball. That Cardinals might have the more talented and deepest secondary in the entire league.

Also I'm really liking the Tannehill to Mike Wallace connection. They've built a pretty strong repertoire in such a short time frame. They could possibly finish the season a top 5 QB-WR duo.
