LOL relax man a month ago is still early July, which is like 2 or so weeks after the finals. The summer isn't over yet. I'm sure he's working on losing the unnecessary weight to regain his explosiveness, and working on his jumper. More importantly, need Wade healthy.

Character issues aside. Please no opinions. How is Beasley's defense? Does he gaurd the 3 or 4 more? Could he play the 4 here? Obviously many flaws and poor judgement just curious. 6'10 always gets my attention.

or butler in the middle of the season if become available

if can't wait

sign someone like pietrus(who is waiting until september to talk to teams and another reshard lewis brother). Pietrus made 17 3's against lebrons cavs back in the day and shot over 50% in the series

or dahntay jones the kobe stopper

The last time Wade had the treatment was when he was shut down in March 2008, prior to his strong bounce back season in 08/09. From what I've read on it, the time he took off is the minimum requirement. Since it worked well on him before, I'm confident his doctors know how to handle this situation. If he starts full workouts by the end of August/beginning of September, he'll have enough time to be in good shape for the season. You don't want to mess the whole positive effect of the therapy up by returning to early. I'm confident he'll be in a much better condition this year than in the previous two seasons.

This. Wade said right after the Finals that he was going to get a month's rest and then begin treatment. He is right on schedule, especially since he has visibly lost some weight judging from his recent pics. Wade is one of those patient guys when it comes to injuries; he knows his body and he has a good feel of knowing if he is "good" or "great", which can be a difference of 20/4/4 or 22+/5/5. Wade's aiming to be "great" and with his improved conditioning and "great" knees, he will dominate the league and rightfully take his place as the best SG once again.

RealGM doctors have to be the worst doctors on the planet. If it was up to them, no one would last more than 2 years playing in the NBA.

Only two dudes on the team 6 2 or smaller. That makes for a large team.

It all depends on Oden's health. If he's good by playoff time we could play a huge closing lineup of

Lebron
Wade
Battier
Bosh
Oden

Birdman as the third big, Allen as the third guard. extremely long and tall team.

Who is asking Wade to push himself harder than he has to? If anything, the consensus is that he should return to full health first.

I actually want Wade to avoid the preseason altogether; we must limit him whichever way we can.

As for his own game, Wade isn't planning to change much. The San Antonio Spurs often left him alone on the perimeter in order to pack the paint against LeBron James. Wade said the unorthodox game plan won't serve as a motivator to improve his jump shot or change his style in the offseason.

"I welcome it, it's fine," Wade said of the Spurs daring him to shoot. "Especially if I get a chance to shoot midrange shots. That's what I've done my whole career, and I won't stop doing it until I stop playing this game."

Wade shot just 35.4 percent on midrange shots in the playoffs, according to NBA.com.

Well he's right, he also said if he's healthy he's able to do the things he wants to do, shooting midrange j's is one of them. He seems to dedicate his entire summer on strengthening the areas around his knees to avoid the problems he's had in the past two seasons and I actually like it.

What I also found interesting is the following:

On bypassing the type of blood-spinning procedure offered in Germany and previously utilized by Kobe Bryant and others for knee pain, Wade said, "I wasn't taking that flight. But you ask your doctors what they feel and they didn't feel I needed to go there. . . . It's not a structural thing, so it's really not what [blood-spinning] does. I think people have a little bit of a misconception about exactly what that treatment does."

Looks like Orthokine isn't the recommended method for his issues.

But to me, the most welcoming sign was the following:

Friday, while speaking at his adult fantasy camp at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa,
there only were positive signs, less than 12 hours after completing his first basketball-related workout since winning his third championship on June 20, at AmericanAirlines Arena against the San Antonio Spurs. Thursday's night-owl session came under the tutelage of noted trainer Tim Grover, who is among those working Wade's annual camp.

I hope he sticks with Grover for the rest of the summer. I always felt he was the best for him, as he's experienced with guards in that mold.

Except for maybe 09, wade was never an exceptional mid range shooter. Not sure why he doesn't focus on that part of his game, while lebron does. Sigh

I just hope he dominates defensively like he has been throughout his career.
