And this is why people are interested to see him return.

I think that the current chemistry wouldn't have formed with him here, partly cos he would have seen himself as equal. But now he'd be coming in to an established team unit, with chemistry & a very clear pecking order. He'd be far from an equal, more like a humbled, wayward son returning (he'd be coming back on a likely vet min contract).

My thoughts precisely.

How some posters are so anti-Beasley yet pro players that have very little talent and nearly 40yo amazes me.

The problem is Beasley is far from being mature and a professional. His personally issues are big a problem, and not only that his personal issues effect his game as well. Beasley has a long way to go, and not closely ready to be good enough for this team.

So let's sign some no skill like Ivan Johnson or a 7ft white guy.

Beas has skills and smokes dope in the off-season.

Even if he has a good impact on the court, the off court presence around our young guys alone would make me not want him anywhere near our team. We got rid of Beas for basically that very reason, he doesn't reflect the values and dedication this organization stands for, and I am okay with that. I'l take a less talented committed guy like Battier over a Beasley.
