I have it on good authority from my gay cousin's milkman that we're signing Harrellson.

Why would some girl lie about it - post it in the middle of a stream of otherwise regular teen girl stuff to her 300 followers about a no-name nba player?

He could have decided to sign here, but nothing is official, pending a physical and stuff that would happen on a weekday ie next week.

We're at the point where we need to bring in proven vets. We have enough young talent on this team.

I wouldn't mind Harrellson, hes a solid rebounder/defender who brings a little toughness to the team, and he's also been known to step outside and knock down a 3 pointer from time to time. I like him more than a lot of the other names being thrown around.

Its ironic if we do bring in Harrellson, since he was good friends with Knight and we just shipped him out.

Harrellson is a pretty decent backup so I have no problems with this sign if true.

He's basically a poor mans Laimbeer. I actually like him as an addition, he might be able to steal minutes from Villanueva since he at least plays hard on defense, plus he's only 24 so he could be around for a while.

I'm sold!

I actually hadn't thought about Harrlleson before. if we DID sign him I'd be very happy. He's about the same age as Aldrich but actually has some offensive skills. Whenever I watched him play he always seemed to have a pretty decent mid-range J, and some good rebounding/defending skills. He'd be a great 3rd C. I hope we signed him for at least 2 years. He's still young enough where he could improve decently and become a very solid backup C.

EDIT: Here's some highlights of him against the Kings. Didn't know he had 3pt range.

Poor man's Laimbeer is a great description. Shoots basically a set shot 3, strong enough to hold position, zero hops, zero foot speed, bit of an edge to him.

He was fun to watch at Kentucky, always scrapping for points successfully.

Reasonable choice for a spot on the team that will likely get 40 DNP-CD's and 5-8 minutes a game when he does play.

Excellent selling points! I liked Harrellson when he was in Kentucky and when he was with the Knicks. He plays hard for the entire time he's in the game. He doesn't back down. He has quick strong hands and will get at least one or two steals by reaching in a taking the ball right out of the offensive player's hands.

He's a good insurance asset.
