I think Dre will be fine.
When Shaq and Dwight shot FTs, they like bricked it up there. Andre actually has a nice touch on the ball.

Well, Ben Wallace often looked like Ray Allen at the line. Still an awful FT shooter.

That's arrogance then. If Drummond is under 50%, the team should make him shoot them underhand. There is no reason in the world, anyone should ever shoot under 60% from the line. In the 30's in asinine, and if pride is getting in Drummonds way, he needs to grow up.

Andre, your a horrific free throw shooter, and good players, and teammates will do what it takes for their team to win. You better be a dominant low block player, and bring the Pistons titles, or all you will be remembered for is your hideous free throw shooting.

Like I said, pride over skill sometimes. They're not going to risk looking like a complete loser by doing underhand or whatever hand. Standard over unconventional.

I honestly don't care whether he shoots them underhand, overhand, or even if he hits the ball into the hoop with a tennis racket. One thing is for sure: He HAS to improve his free throw shooting, by whatever means necessary. If underhand works, then why not use it? The only justification would be that he is actually working on and improving his normal free throw, which remains to be seen.
