Thanks Woody for taking Hibbert and Cousins too early for me to fret about picking them with my next picks.

Trade announcement:

Sabonis receives: 33 + 48 + 128
Ham receives: Westbrook + 95 + 146

Edit to fix typo.

I'm considering moving Marc Gasol. If he's a guy that interests you send me an offer.

alright, let's see if Conley's consecutive seasons of top 25 performance repeats. He might bring same overall value as Westbrook. And his play after Gay left plus the playoffs was promising to me, somewhat showcasing that he might take the next step towards stardom.

So 3 picks in, I am pretty happy with my big 3... Howard, Smith, Rondo.

Hopefully Rondo sees the court early in the season.

Wow. I was thinking Rondo would fall another 20 picks or so.

top 3 choices like always
they work well together
did i say well I mean terrific
but i dont think rondo will see the floor till dec
boston need to tank and they will do it
theres no need to bring rondo to the floor
could be good if you can be near the top 10 till dec

There is no consensus out there yet on the top 30. I'm seeing some people like Rondo all over the map. He's #27 on a preliminary ranking over at ESPN.

Meanwhile in a slow mock draft that ham is in, they are 50 deep and Rondo hasn't come up yet.

I love Rondo but he's said to be out at least for the first month and the fact that Boston is in full rebuilding mode gives him little incentive to rush things. After last year's endless wait on Rubio (and Derrick Rose in one of my other leagues), I was determined to stay away from injured players.

Yeah, considering you'll get enough dnp's out of cousins due to suspensions...it must be pick on woody day :D

Now that they've all been picked:

I think Rubio will produce rondos usual line with a few less rebounds and swap the percentages.

Rondo relies on athleticism much like rose does...and rose missed an entire season...I don't expect Rajon back to form until the all-star break.

Dirk is who I would've taken at 23, but I've had the d-wade + dirk team before in other leagues, and I don't remember doing that well.

I'm hopeful that the management, coaching and roster changes in Sacramento will have positive effects on Cousins. Things will really start looking up if they don't sign him to an hefty extension soon.

Well if I remember correctly this is the first year that smith-dwight-rondo got picked together, in the previous seasons not even 2 of them could be picked by the same team (barring a trade) because their adp was something like 7-15-20. So at last a Dwight team can win this year if all works well, if Rondo doesn't miss more than a month. and I think Rondo would have lasted at least another 10-15 picks IMHO.
