Bostic Fined 21k for Hit on Williams

No flag on the play, Williams got right up. Now Bostic is out 5% of his entire salary for this hit:

:nonono: the NFL is leaving defenses with no other hit other than at the waist and below. Open season on ACLs.

Funny thing is, now you can't hit a QB high or low, so if you arrive at the QB unblocked it is likely to cost you money. I'm suprised Shea Mac wasn't fined.

I hope Bostic doesn't hesitate going forward. He already has enough to think about.

You all know that if Bostic hit him with half the force and the guy didn't lose the ball there would be no fine or even review. And that certainly means they changed the game of football if the hard tackle that knocks the ball loose is legislated out of the game. Means the offensive player keeps the ball where he caught it.

The problem is, Bostic made too perfect of a hit. They didn't like that. They are gonna really start annoying people to the point where you aren't enjoying yourself watching the sport if your team is on the short end of this game changer in the NFL FO.

Furthermore, I'm also starting to think that this is some sick form of rookie hazing...I mean 21k for a clean hit and his "first offense"??? come on.....let's not forget last year when we played greenbay and Alshon Jeffrey was called for I think 3 offensive PI's.....that was literally the first time I've seen that happen in 18 years of watching football (college, hs, and NFL)

Yea that was stupid.
I agree with with ur point that 5% of the players salary was too harsh for a first time offender.
