And it is not a lot of highway mileage.
I remember Kobe as a sprite kid on the team. How much he has changed to being the elder statesman. Happy birthday Kobe hope you play to 40 years old.

Wow, time flies. Seems like it was yesterday when Kobe turned 30 and the USA barely beat Spain in the '08 Olympics.

Born (in '93) and raised in LA ,started watching the lakers by 3 or 4. I remember asking my dad "who's this new coach, Phil Jackson? And why did they get rid of the last guy" lmao i was like 5 or 6. I'm accustomed to waking up every morning thinking "hey we got kobe, we gonna be alright" One day that's gonna change and I don't know what it's going to be like.

I just want to wish Kobe a happy birthday and hope that his recovery goes well. All I ask is that God lets him be the same Kobe on the court for this upcoming season ( and the next several seasons) he has been throughout his career.

Happy birthday Kobe. Michael Jordan retired at age 35. Will Kobe be doing the same?

I still remember the day of watching his very first pro run... at CSULB in the summer of '96.
