I still like Vesely as a four man. He has great athleticism but his jumper is just not good enough for a three. He can be a poor-man's Kirilenko in the NBA, but he is probably destined for a career in Europe considering how badly he was treated in Washington. He was given 11 mins per game as a 22 year-old lottery pick. Terrible management on a terrible team has likely killed Jan's interest in an NBA career.

Don't think he's missed from the field (2/2) and I think he went to the line twice but I missed his first trip. If he got there twice then he was 1/2 the second time.

Hopefully someone has a better stat line!

I feel like Vesely had his opportunities but always underperformed. The 11.8 minutes is a little misleading because he had a dozen games where he played 20+ minutes, or close to 20. And the 2 minute games skew the average. Look how the Wizards gave him good minutes early in the season: http://www.basketball-reference.com/pla ... elog/2013/. He just failed to show anything special. And he's too timid offensively.

But anyways, he was just a bad 6th pick. He's not particularly skilled and his game revolves around dunking and rebounding. And in SL he was ok. He's still young but I don't think his skill set will ever justify where he was drafted.

It was a terrible idea making him into a 4. They drafted SF with no perimeter skills thinking they will put him out of position and everything will be fine... His only identity was perimeter defense. And they destroyed it. He wasn't able to play 4 for a second, he had no chance whatsoever succeeding as PF.

haha we all want him on 100% of the time.

And he went with that left handed move again just now. Good to see! It missed this time but it's very controlled and he has a nice soft touch with it.

Ok, in my opinion that's a bad rebound by the guard. Jonas had position and could have just gone right back up with it. The guard just came in and took it back to the perimeter. Ridiculous.
