I think he had something around 23 points on 6 or 7 shots and about 8 rebounds in just over 22 minutes. No official stats available yet.

He can be a poor-man's Kirilenko in the NBA, but he is probably destined for a career in Europe considering how badly he was treated in Washington. He was given 11 mins per game as a 22 year-old lottery pick. Terrible management on a terrible team has likely killed Jan's interest in an NBA career.
It was a terrible idea making him into a 4. They drafted SF with no perimeter skills thinking they will put him out of position and everything will be fine... His only identity was perimeter defense. And they destroyed it. He wasn't able to play 4 for a second, he had no chance whatsoever succeeding as PF.
Dalek wrote:I guess I disagree with your idea to keep him as a three man. You yourself say he has no perimeter skills, so you then have to look at how he can create a mismatch. Making him a four makes him more likely to drive by his man in face-up situations, plus he can just hone in his pick and pop game as a mid range shooter. He is like 6-11 and still got a frame that can add weight to it. I don't think he will be a starter, but he could be a decent back-up.
He didn't have John Wall for most of last season, but you have to like him as a fit as an athletic big who can run the wings with Wall. I still think there is room for him on a running team. He is still the Dunking Ninja aka Airwolf, after all.

Actually our point guards should be paying attention. They can make a nice career year for themselves out of all the assists they can collect.
