sab, as I said, I'd prefer to stay out as I want to concentrate on a few other teams. So feel free to take over now.

Isn't the draft for Rookies only?

And can someone direct me or refresh my memory on the Auction? It's been awhile since I was in the Money League and not sure if anything has been changed.

If you want to pick up a player off waivers you can bid on them and highest bid gets the player. You can also bid 0. If nobody bids then the player goes to free agency.

Guys, this year's draft is a straight draft. The rookie draft and the auction draft both start next year.

Okay, just so everyone knows. I'm putting "SKL" for Semi-Keeper League in my emails regarding lists, trade offers, etc.

Here is my open trade offer to any team:

I trade My 1st Round (8), 5th round (64), and 7th round (92)

You trade your 2nd rounder, 3rd rounder, and your last pick.

If anyone wants to take me up on this trade email me at
fwj underscore 777 at yahoo dawt comm.

***************************************
And yet another question!
***************************************

Are the 5 Keepers going to hold any positional relevance?
I think it would be pretty cool if your 5 keepers had to be able to fill all 5 spots.
Otherwise, we could run into an issue where someone wants to be 5 cat dominant and keeps 5 PGs or 5 Cs each time. (I realize that the roster limitations should put a hamper on this, but how much?)
Making sure your keepers fill the PG,SG,SF,PF,C spots might even the playing field and keep everyone a bit more honest. (It also makes certain players immensely valuable).

Either way will be fun, but I have a feeling if you really plan this thing out...you could easily have a Miami Heat "not 1, not 2, not 3...not 8" type of situation with your roster after the initial draft. After that, there will be some teams stuck in purgatory, and some teams lottery bound each and every year.

I'm sorry if me discussing this is really hurting someones already formulated strategy, but half the reason I like fantasy basketball so much (especially on the forums) is because of so many like-minded good drafters who really are open to discussing strategies.

I'm just spit-balling here, trying to ensure an open playing-field.

Yet Again! (Just because I don't see it posted anywhere, although I didn't check thoroughly)

1. I'd assume this is going to be H2H with daily match ups through Yahoo!?

I only ask because I might need to move some leagues over to an alternate email, as the one I use for FFL is currently full.

2. Are playoffs going to be like FFL, which I believe are a week earlier than the Yahoo? Standard.

3. IF we want this to focus on top-tier talent, maybe do something to prevent wavier-wire fodder from playoff ownage?

There are a few options I can think of IF this is something we're interested in:
-Limiting Add/drops (bidding) for FA in the playoffs
-No Playoffs (just straight seeding until the end; The #1 seed is the winner)

Again, I've never been in this type of league before, so maybe the Bidding and Auction system will work most of these issues out. I'm probably just putting way too much thought into this.

I'm also willing to trade my top pick (#9). Good spot to get one of the last elite players. Looking for a 2-for-2 trade, like maybe late 1st rounder/early 2nd and a 3rd-5th rounder.

Just received a confirmation from Sab/Can. He will be taking over the team. I will be the backup if a GM is needed to fill a spot.

I tried to wait for Curtis, but it had been over 9 hours and I went ahead and picked. I saw that BWW announced that there would be an 8 hour pick limit once Insfo picked...
