Rex and Favors would be an athletic and dynamic frontcourt and would allow Favors to play the 5 which actually suits his game to a T.

Utah in my opinion would have to think long and hard about this.

I've been on the Biyombo bandwagon since the start and as much as I think he will turn the corner I would prefer to trade him for Kanter in a package than trade Zeller.

No, but we would if Utah called us with that offer. Cho is infatuated with Zeller.

You can't trade this guy for the 4th pick in a terrible draft:

Everyone knows about his physique. We will see how he does in extended minutes this year.

Al Jefferson and Bismack Biyombo for Larry Sanders, Carlos Delfino and a future second rounder

I like it. Sanders is a bargain at 4/44. My only fear is that in 3 yeas after Jeffersons gone Biyombo becomes the next Sanders, or better.

Don't like it. I like Sanders, but he's not an amazing talent. I see Biyombo catching up to Sanders in the next 2-3 years, and the waiting period is not worth giving up Al.

I think we should probably see how the team fares this season before we make some moves.

Sanders would be a good get on his contract but I'm not so sure we should give up on Biz yet.

A deal around Jefferson and the Portland pick would be a preference, we are talking Hammond here.

Call me crazy but I reckon that a deal for someone like Tyreke Evans would be possible, surely NO finds out that they have way too much money invested at PG and SG.

Tyreke Evans for Al Jefferson at the deadline?

Trade Ben Gordon and Gerald Henderson at the deadline?

Perfect 2014 tank team?

Kemba
Tyreke/Taylor
Gilchrist/Taylor
Zeller
Biyombo

Call me crazier, but if we're going to go with a SG that doesn't hit threes very well, I'd just stick with Hendo than trade Jefferson for Tyreke. Eric Gordon would be a better target.

I have always like Gerald Henderson and he is one of my favourite players, but, we are at a point where we need talent as much as anything imo.

Tyreke has the perfect size to play next to Kemba, would be the secondary ball handler we need and like Hendo his 3 ball is much improved, he actually shot 34 percent this year from distance.

I really like Eric Gordon but he has had a myriad of injury/heart problems and he wouldn't fit our recent philosophy of size and defense though he would obviously provide the spacing we need.

If you go back to Gordon's Clippers days, he was actually a very good defender as well. He plays bigger than 6'3 with his strength and athleticism. Obviously his knee issues are something that would make me wary of trading a lot for him, but if the Pelicans decide they want to roll with Tyreke instead of Gordon, and just want to dump his contract or whatever, I'd happily give up Ben Gordon and Taylor/POR pick for him and hope he can at least play 60-70 games every year.

If we trade for Eric Gordon then we know for a fact we've given up any tanking plans.

I personally think Gordon is too small to play next to Kemba and the injuries worry me.

The injuries are a concern, which is why I wouldn't give up too much to get him (an expiring and the POR pick should do it?), but like I've said, Eric Gordon plays bigger than 6'3 because of how strong and athletic he is. He's built like Deron Williams, only he is more athletic and has longer arms as well. His shooting and ability to get to the rim would help us score obviously, but it frees everyone else up too. I've said it before, but a healthy Eric Gordon is a borderline all-star.

Yes, trading for Gordon likely puts us into the playoffs (as a 7-8 seed), and I feel we either need to make a move that gets us to the playoffs, or one that keeps us tanking for one more year. We CAN NOT afford to miss the playoffs and still lose our pick, which would happen if we finish in the 11-14 range and if we play up to our abilities this year, that's where we are headed if we don't make a move.

Ill pass on Evans contract. Especially if we have to start Biyombo again.

Hi there Charlotte fans,

i've read on the t&t board, that you need a shooting sg/sf and that Haywood isn't in your plans anymore. Therefore i'd like to hear your opinion.

Brendan Haywood (3yrs left), future 2nd round pick for Jordan Crawford (exp with QO)

Would you consider such a deal? Am i asking for to much (2nd rounder) for the remaning three years on Haywood's deal?

Yeah, I wouldn't lose a 2nd round pick to get Jordan Crawford. Haywood is only making like, what, 2 million per?

Charlotte really, really, really needs a deadeye perimeter shooter that can defend okay and not dribble the ball off his foot. *glares at Ben Gordon*

I agree with BD about the second.

Haywood is also in our future plans considering his OG status, he won't get a lot of minutes but his knowledge and PR are invaluable.

I think we'd prefer a backup SF to be honest.

I think we can just roll with a nine-man rotation of:

Al/Biz
Z/McBob
MKG/Taylor
Hendo/Sessions/Taylor
Kemba/Sessions

with occasional appearances by Gordon, Tolliver, & Co. We've got three legit options at center. Haywood is useless to us at this point.

My next "super small trade that I think should happen"

The Bobcats send Jeff Adrien to Phoenix for Malcom Lee.

Why for Phoenix: they cut/get Adriens' unguaranteed contract to save money and rid themselves of a guard who probably won't play anyways.

Why for Charlotte: Lees 23 years old, and has a really small contract. He started 12 out of 16 games for the Wolves last year and then disappeared. I am not expecting him to be amazing, but Charlotte needs a backup SG more than a "depth 4".

This happens, I will be the Peter Vescey of pointless trades....so I guess I'll just be peter vescey.
