I wouldn't be shocked if it happened. Our offensive line is still very soft. Sitton is a beast at RG BUT will he be the same at LG over the season? Both Tackle spots are huge question marks. EDS seems solid at C.

Plus all the damn injuries don't seem like they will go away. The WR core is suspect due to injury, the safeties are suspect due to inexperience outside Burnett, the LBs can not cover the middle of the field, and the running game is a question mark with young talent yet to play in consistent time.

Injuries and holes at some key spots could be our undoing. I also am not sure if Rodgers can hold up if he gets sacked over 40-45 times again...

We've gone 26-6 the last two years with pretty much every problem that you just mentioned. Relalx.

Yeah but will it catch up to us? Thats my worry.. where we're seeing the team just have bad year because all of the weaknesses hit us at once in a 2005 or 2006 type season.

Every team in the league has weaknesses. Ours are significantly less problematic than most.

Look at the Lions:

1. QB is good but not great
2. No #2 receiver
3. Still determining who will start at RG and RT
4. Riley Reiff has sucked in preseason at LT. Sims is the only guy on that line that's proven.
5. Their LBs are awful in coverage. (Our LBs are not awful in coverage, especially Jones)
6. Question marks at both DE spots. Which version of Jason Jones do they get and can Ziggy Ansah contribute as a rookie?
7. Still battling it out for the second and nickel corner spot.
8. Louis Delmas is good but averages about 4 games a season and they have nothing else at Safety.

Yes, our team is flawed, but so is every other team.

I liked the push we saw to get to the quarterback on defense. We made Wilson work and forced him to beat us with his arm, which he had a hard time with.

Frustrated though that we were not able to do more on the ground. With a lessened WR core, I really want to see that run game become a serious option. Otherwise I believe we will have some struggles putting points on the board, as crazy as that may sound.
Ball so hard.

Not to worry - the offense will be just fine. Finley is set to play for a contract. Jordy Cobb & Jones are excellent and Lacy will have both great & not so great games his 1st year. And we have this guy named Rodgers!

The defense should be improved. We should get pressure often w/ just 4 - Jones Daniels Matthews Neal - which will make us more effective!

WR core isn't really lessened. It just means more snaps/opportunities for Finley, Nelson, Cobb, and Jones. Only thing to worry about is injury and that's something that the pack have been dealing with for the last few years with Greg Jennings. It seemed like that guy was only around once a month
