haha.... residual Tastic, residual.

I thought it was refreshing to see Goran's enthusiasm. I don't see us anything but better this yr, in almost every category.

Except maybe the four spot. Unless Morris has found a way to stop fouling and found a post game, we didn't really upgrade that spot. But besides that, I like our team, and remain optimistic. Onward and upward.

Two things.... We will be more exciting to watch with adding Bledso and Green and Goodwin, and taking away the least athletic players at thier respective posistions in Duds and Scola. And I think there will be more consistency with a healthy Gortat, Dragic playing starting at Sg. and a real pro at the Sf. in Butler.

However, both Dudley and Scola were probably our best vets, and best examples for any youngster to learn from. Hopefully Butler can pick up some of that slack, but losing Scola's post game will hurt us terribly if our running isn't clicking.

Both Dudley and Scola made up for the lack of athletism with effort, heart, and hustle. I think Dudley was burned out from last year. I think he was getting feedback from the fans, telling him they wanted the Suns to lose to get a better pick, at least it seemed something like that by the comments Dudley made. It also has to be tough on Dudley to go from a team that goes to the WCFs, and then fairly quickly have almost all of those players get traded or not resigned.

Not a lot of change after trading Gortat/Marshal/Lee/Brown

BurningHeart wrote:I think getting Hornacek will really unleash Dragic to do what he does best. Bledsoe should be solid defensively regardless of what happens with his offensive development and I think the addition of Butler will help out. If Frye comes back, Len gets healthy and has a respectable rookie campaign, and Beasley/Brown's minutes are limited heavily, we have a good shot to win 30-35 games.

Remember guys. Running and gunning often helps teams look and do better than they would otherwise. Catches people off-guard, creates mismatches, etc. That with offensive players that aren't named Beasley/Brown is a big improvement.

Most importantly, the coaching and management situation is finally stable. We know Hornacek and McDonough will be here for a while. Leadership stability in a franchise is unfathomably important, both on and off the court.

Don't be surprised if this team plays better than you think. Honestly, if we don't see an improvement on what we did last year given all the tumult and turnover and given all the changes we've made in this offseason, it would be a massive, massive failure.
