new is lame.

The old layout was so much cooler. Why are they trying to turn the new Y! into miley cyrus

Feedback is good. Useful feedback is better.

Tell me exactly what you don't like. If you are specific then I can pass it on to people who will value your feedback. If it's just "i hate change" or "this sucks" it's not really going to have an impact.

why should I have to scroll down in order to see what a player is averaging this year? Why should I see what Garnett averaged in 99-00. That info means something to you if you are specifically looking at it. In fact for players such as Garnett and Duncan who had long careers, people will have to scroll twice to see their on going regular season averages, one scroll may not be enough.

The reason I've always used yahoo for NBA purposes was because how simple and clean it was. I could see everything in one look. The last 3 seasons check, how that player performed against his next opponent check.
I didn't really care about how a player did in 2 days rest 3 days rest or no rest etc. I think that was abundant information.

I think if yahoo added a last 10 game log in the main page of the players, that would have been great. Right now it just looks crowded, especially with the next at the right column.

Oh and the players' photos are just too large. Why the need?
There is just a lot of space not used, I like the compact look of yahoo. This is exactly the opposite of compact and I hate it.

There you go, hope you can use this feedback

Well Im on the clock with the next 3 picks.
I made trades to get 3 picks here, I liked the players available here. So Ive got the guys I want already in mind.
So obviously Id like to take this time to post my roster.

PG: George Hill
SG
SF: Tobias Harris
SF: Wilson Chandler
PF: Serge Ibaka

I will now go get another beer. Ill probably then post a catalog of all the cassette tapes that I own. Then probably follow that with a synopsis of the film Eat, Pray, Love.

I've never seen Eat, Pray, Love. But, the title itself sounds like a synopsis.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

First off the stats are covered up by the links frame on the right.

As WB said it no long shows games missed so it is hard to tell how many games a player has missed.

The background makes it harder to read.

Thanks sabs, that's great stuff. I agree with a lot of what you are saying, but it's a lot better if I can forward responses like yours that weren't written by me.

Yeah, starting to wish I had just stayed at 107. You folks are really chewing up my prospect list.

My opinion on the new Yahoo! Sports layout:

They steam-rolled pushing out the new format to look cool on retina display's and tablets/iPhones. I get why this would happen, I just feel it could have waited another year or two (not everyone buys the newest, coolest, fasting thing right when it comes onto the market).

Even though it's better on those format's than on a regular laptop or desktop, I still feel those they didn't need to mess with the way the stats were displayed. It's much more difficult to read, and provides information that I can't imagine the majority of people going to view the pages are actually looking for (Its already been mentioned a few times here that it's not the kind of stats we're looking for).
