Star players can't produce big games at will against anybody. You really need examples of this or is it just you poorly choosing your words again?
How often have you made excuses for Wade not having a big game? I guarantee he wanted to have big games in those games even if he was limited by injury. Lebron wanted to have big games in every game against the Mavs. All those games that Bosh was nearly invisible in, he wanted to to have big games. So apparently a player can't have a big game at will against any team and there are hundreds of examples.
You said a role player can't win a game like a star player can. I showed an example that directly proved you wrong. It wasn't pathetic it was the perfect example. You still arguing after being proven factually wrong is pathetic.
I did say my choice of words was wrong, you could've just admitted that you didn't quite understand my original point and let it drop.
And yeah, one example out of the thousands of games that have been played really proves my point wrong.
I did understand your original point that you posted. What you wrote was proven wrong. Why would I admit I didn't understand your original point? Sorry I can't read your mind and I just assume that what you type is what you mean.
Again its you who made the mistake and should have dropped it. I still have no idea why this is continuing.
And yes one example does really prove your point wrong when you say that someone CANNOT do something. If I say Wade CANNOT dunk a basketball, it only takes one example of him dunking a basketball to prove me wrong. I'm sorry that you do not understand basic logic. One example of a role player winning a game for his team proves that a role player can win a game for his team.
I await you trying to backpedal and play a stupid game of semantics.
LeBron had big games against the Mavericks he just ran out of gas, Bosh had big games when he put his mind to it, but his role often doesn't even give him a chance to play big and Wade had big games when he received cortisone injections. Of course physical limitations in terms of injury limit everybody, but Wade actually proved my point right. He had big games at will when his body was somewhat doing what it was supposed to do. Of course when you can't do the things you wanna do physically, no human being can get past that, but I figured that kind of spoke for itself as well. I also figured it spoke for itself that a star wouldn't force anything at the detriment of his team, at least not if he is a smart one a la Bosh.[/quote]
Again you don't understand basic logic.
If you say that a star player can have a big game at will against any team then any game that the player wants to have a big game he can have a big game. This is obviously not the case. You said yourself that Lebron had big games against the Mavericks, BUT he also had some games that weren't so big. Do you really think he didn't want to have big games in every game he plays in the finals?
There have been plenty of games where Bosh could have had a big game to the benefit of the team and didn't. To think he just didn't want to is absurd. You think he didn't want to have a big game in that 4/18 game?
With Wade there is no point discussing him with you because you are the biggest homer/apologist for him so in your mind he has never not had a big game without some kind of excuse so lets take him out of the discussion since you can't be objective at all there.
Still Lebron is the biggest star in the game. There is absolutely no denying that he is a star. And even he can't have a big game at will against every team. The lesser star players like Bosh have even less of a chance of being able to have a big game whenever they want. To say a star player can have a big game at will against any team is just factually wrong.
Your emotions fuel the narratives that you create. You see what you want to see. You believe what you want to believe. You ascribe meaning when it is not there. You create significance when it is not present.
