Every bit of that is brilliant. In Philly, he'd be electrified in front of the crowd. In Toronto, the cop writes a report in which he does not begrudge the guy for trying to electrify the crowd.

the part about jumping from the 500s is classic

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

The prosecutor quoted Hamlet. He wins.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

On one hand, it's a guy doing something stupid that left everybody unharmed and the punishment seems to fit the crime. On the other hand, you really want to see them deter this in the future, and this does anything but that. But, I personally don't care about the odd streaker - it's always kind of fun to see how hard he'll be tackled.

I think the cop would rather have arrested Beeston and AA than "That Guy". He's sending a message that the police aren't going get tough on runners until the team acquires a decent catcher and a front of the rotation starter who can pitch in the AL East. And that's a good message to send.

Its actually a $2500 fine, the night in the holding cell and a criminal record. I would know they briefed us on this many times working there. It also states it on the back of the foul line walls. While I found this funny its not worth it.
