Yea he was drafted when he was 19. Imagine that the Nuggets drafted Amar'e (before the injuries) and the next year paired him with Carmelo?

Not to me. Still remember his NBA days. In my mind he is still young, its weird he is considered a vet now.

One of those games that exposed val - bad decisions, good defense against him, and the result - less than exciting play. Being fat is only small part of the game. Getting smart is what needed now. Val is totally predictable as a player.

His style of play works if he takes jumpers. That is what essentially brings some unpredictability to his game. He never takes jumpers when plays for Lithuania and it is a trend. I dont understand why they are not encouraging him to do so. All the other bigmen do that, and they are not necessarily good at it. Yeah, he is completely predictable now, because all he does is playing infantry. Runs into bodies off balanced, It is pretty hard to watch.

When he receives the ball, he can easily face up and shoot it. His percentages aren't even bad, it would force opponents to gamble.
He is not using his skill, he is playing like Renaldo Balkman. He wasn't exposed as a player per se. We have seen him in the NBA beating those defenses plenty of times. He has variety to him, he is not using it now for some reason.
