If we can't trade him, I wouldn't even give him the QO which is about $5-$6M.

I'm not quick to declare he's not worth it. I'd rather have him on the deal than Zaza on his.

Butler and RJ were better overall players. It's a moot point though; they're all just keeping that seat warm for Joe Johnson. :)

Yep. Joe Johnson is just about old enough and just about washed up enough for the Bucks to make a run at him!!

Next year ya think?

See Sig. There's still time! Do you think Brooklyn would trade Johnson for Butler and Henson?

But does that even matter? Both guys are 5th bigs at this point IMO. Udoh was better when he literally did nothing on offense. If he attempts one hook shot this season that's one too many. Both zaza and udoh are one trick ponies. Udoh defends pick n rolls alright and boxes out. Zaza is an instigator who brings a little physicality. Neither are really worth their deal nor do they fill a major role at this point.

We shouldn't have signed Zaza obviously but Udoh is as irrelevant as you can get.

So a little late to the party, but as best I can gather we traded for a guy who is no better than Delfino to compete with him and Middelton for minutes all in front of Yanni, thus stapling him to the bench and stunting his development ala Tobias Harris.

That about right?

Caron butler is better than Delfino.

And Udoh Is better than a fifth big. He's just 26, his numbers are adequate and can play both 4 & 5. I actually think he fits in nicely backing both sanders and Henson and would rather trade ersan for a good return.

Yes but with the caveat that Del3no might not be ready to go at the start of the season so there should be plenty of opportunity for Middleton and Giannis to show they are ready for minutes in camp and preseason. My personal guess is that Middleton is penciled in at #3 SG and that they will give Giannis every opportunity to win the #2 SF job in camp. I doubt Wolters or Rad see any time on the court during the regular season this year.

I don't think Beasley at this point is worth it. He's much more concerned about lighting up than becoming an all-star caliber player. On paper he seems like an intriguing buy low guy, but I just don't think its ever going to happen.

Udoh can't even box out.
Or actually grab rebounds.
Or guard big centers or perimeter PF's.

And shooting 40% when you are 6'10 and take all your shots in the paint is pretty bad.

I hope we see some Zaza & Sanders on the floor together when we have to face teams like Memphis this season.

With how nasty our lockerroom got last year we should be one of the last teams willing to take a flier on Beasley.

But then again we're the Bucks so who knows.

Beasley makes me think of a guy like Derrick Coleman. Superb physical skills with a don't-give-a-crap approach. Mostly a big teaser with some empty stats.

I don't see why anyone would want Beasley. I guess this would be a pretty awesome sign-and-stash-in-DLeague type of signing, although I can't imagine him being happy with that or not getting arrested or screwing around with controlled substances in Reno/wherever that team would be. He'll probably go dominate D-League and get another shot in a couple years.
