Beasley belongs on the Kings with Cousins or a Prison Circuit.

Udoh has done nothing to prove he is better than Zaza.

Other than being a better basketball player. Zaza is better at having an oversized head.

Udoh can't even box out.
Or actually grab rebounds.
Or guard big centers or perimeter PF's.

And shooting 40% when you are 6'10 and take all your shots in the paint is pretty bad.

I hope we see some Zaza & Sanders on the floor together when we have to face teams like Memphis this season.

You made four claims here. Two of them are outright false (can't box out or guard perimeter PFs). One is dubious (big centers). One is an exaggeration (40%). One is definitely true (grab rebounds). Yet, we still rebound better with him than without him, because he's so effective at boxing out that he doesn't release to chase the ball. Which is a smart thing for him to do, because if he did chase the ball, he'd just paw at it like a happy kitten.

Udoh can box his man out at times, but so many times he's completely oblivious to everything else that's going on. This is the eye test for me as I watched him give up so many layups because his cerebral awareness on the court is severely lacking at times.

Grabbing rebounds....his numbers stink.

Big centers....he doesn't have the size.......perimeter PF's.....he doesn't have the foot speed....again eye test.

These are my opinions. I'd trade him before we have to make a decision on his QO.

OK.....he shot 43% last year and is a 43% career shooter....that's terrible for a 6'10 PF still.

Udoh reminds me way too much of Moute with just a bigger body and less versatility.

Isn't that 5? Shave your stache hippie.

I do think it's of note he's playing for a new deal so hopefully we see a bump in his production. I don't know why folks are quick to run him off when he appears to be a fine reserve.

Tuned in to literally the last 30 seconds of the Caron press conference to hear Hammond say something along the lines of "And you know what, when I ended my conversation with Caron, he said that I'm one of the nicest guys he's worked with in the NBA, and that's all that matters." *applause*

No idea what else was said at all in the conference, but wow, we're kind of hilarious.

I thought #3 was Mayo's number? I guess Mayo can flop his usual number #32 to #23.

"Mr. Kohl said I gotta introduce my family, so...I gotta do it!"

Hammond: *Laughter*

Kohl has his hand in every facet and orifice of this team :reporter:

Hammond on words from the team photographer as he walked into this conference today:

"He said to me, he said, 'I've worked with a lot of people in the past, but to me, Caron is the nicest guy in the NBA.' And I think that sums up our day!" *pounds fist on table* *takes picture with Caron*

Boom, Hammond. Nailed it. Nothing about what the general direction of the team is or exactly what it is Caron brings to the table - he's just another nice guy.

John Hammond and Caron Butler: Nice guys.

I don't care if Caron gets 24 minutes per game as long as the other half are going to Middleton/Giannis. Unfortunately I don't foresee them not playing Delfino if he's available. But we'll see what Larry Drew does.
