You have maybe the best keeper backcourt. Big fan of Monroe and how he complements that guard strength, but it's a boom or bust frontcourt. Not as high as others are on Harris.

I expected Amare to go undrafted in a league of this size. 20 minutes limit and sitting out on back to backs, it will be close to a miracle for him to put a top-120 performance (which theoretically is the lower limit you need to perform at to be rostered in this league unless you are a prospect).

Overall I'm not in love with Blake's team. Aside Amare issue, he has one huge question mark (Bynum), another player who may not play until Allstar weekend (Gallo), a very old guy who also may sit on back to backs (KG), a guy who IMO is starting to get really overdrafted (Harris) and Greg Monroe who was a big reach (I had him pegged for after pick 45 or so)

Except maybe my backcourt of Westbrook, Klay and Rose ;)

So, my team is now done.

PG - Stephen Curry
SG - J.J. Redick
G - Rajon Rondo
SF - Wes Matthews
PF - Thad Young
F - David West
C -Nikola Vucevic
Bench - Ben Mclemore
Bench - Andersen Varejao

I think I put together a so-so team, but it's hard to gauge when we have such small teams. I think I've got assists and steals in the bag, but everything else? Totally up in the air. Your thoughts welcome.

Here's my team:

PG Jeremy Lin
SG James Harden
G Greivis Vasquez
SF Kobe Bryant
PF Dirk Nowitzki
F Kevin Love
C Tim Duncan
BEN George Hill
BEN Cody Zeller

I wasn't really planning on collecting those older superstars, but after I narrowly missed out on Eric Bledsoe and Victor Olodipo (by one pick each) I went "oh **** it".

It's title or bust pour moi.

If you can weather the storm early on with Rondo and McLemore and stay above .500 this team could make noise in the playoffs or future years. West was a great value and you should be competitive in rebounds and 3s. Interested to see how good Chris Paul is for Redick.

Yeah, I am somewhat worried about floating for the first month missing a top 20 guy. Here's hoping I can make up the difference when Rondo comes back, and that I don't slide too far down.

Not so fast with the AST and STL in the bag. I think I'll fight you in both CATS. Curry, Rondo, and Thad VS. Rubio, Kemba, Monta. It should be fun.

After all the rave reviews about BWW's tandem of Amare and Andrew Bynum...I now know how everyone feels about my FFL team

My Completed Team:

PG - Ricky Rubio
SG - Monta Ellis
G - Kemba Walker
SF - Carmelo Anthony
PF - Zach Randolph
F - Paul Pierce
C - Al Jefferson
BN - Kevin Martin
BN - Dorell Wright

I like my chances. Trading out of the #8 pick was a good move IMO.
I have a mix of players who are potentially top 10 in 5 different CATS across the board, with a few utility guys who do a bit of everything.

The Dorell pick is kind of crazy, but I wanted a younger glue guy who was a SG/SF and has the potential to light it up from 3. There weren't many of those guys left.

My team, in case anyone wants to take a swipe at it

PG - Jrue Holiday
SG - Jimmy Butler
G - Jeff Teague
SF - Kevin Durant
PF - Larry Sanders
F - Jeff Green
C - Marcin Gortat
BN - Wilson Chandler
BN - Markieff Morris

Not really sure what I think of it myself, but hope to be competitive in most cats, maybe not FG%.

Any team with Durant will be competitive. I feel like Durant will end up carrying you in 3's, points, and FT%, which is usually the case, but without Durant you'd be terrible in those 3 CATS. If another team stacked a few players together to be top tier in those CATS, it will negate Durant in those specific matchups.

I don't really see 5 keepers here, but you have many "bubble" guys who would be solid and young enough to be your last keeper. This is also a relatively healthy team, which is probably a great thing in such a shallow league.

I'm not sure how it compares to the rest of the league, as I haven't looked at the league as a whole yet.

My team, final.

PG: Russell Westbrook
SG: Klay Thompson
G: Derrick Rose
SF: Luol Deng
PF: Pau Gasol
F: David Lee
C: Jonas Valanciunas
BN: Eric Gordon
BN: Carlos Boozer

Under the assumption I can move Klay to backup SF/F and Pau to backup C.

Here's me (with pick # in parentheses):

PG - Ty Lawson (37)
SG - JR Smith (113)
G - Brandon Jennings (48)
SF - Nicolas Batum (20)
PF - Anthony Davis (9)
F - Paul MIllsap (65)
C - Niko Pekovic (85)
BN - Harrison Barnes (76)
BN - Moe Harkless (121)

Mostly drafted for overall value, weighing age and production. Barnes was an overdraft, but he's my pet project and I think he could be in the running for 6th man of the year. Everyone else I think was good value. SG will be an early weakness with JR Smith hurt, but I made an educated bet that Harkless might get SG eligibility and be a rangy contributor. If Anthony Davis gets C eligibility I'm golden. My average player age is 24, so plenty of keeper options here.

PG - Eric Bledsoe (52)
SG - Marcus Thornton (117)
G - Brandon Knight (108)
SF - Kawhi Leonard (33)
PF - Blake Griffin (24)
F - Rudy Gay (61)
C - Dwight Howard (5)
Bench - Javale McGee (80)
Bench - Michael Kidd Gilchrist (89)

Overall it is a pretty young team, the oldest players I have are 27 year old Dwight and Thornton. SG looks a bit troublesome and I'll get beaten in assists and ft% pretty much every week and 3's are below average but I should be competitve in remaining 6 categories.

Not the team I had in mind when I drafted Dwight at 5, but had to change plans once WB snagged Rondo and Jfrost picked Josh Smith.
