OT: Back in Black jerseys?

Post#1 » by GoSixersBro » Wed Sep 4, 2013 11:11 pm

I've looked on the NBA Store, the Heat official merchandise store, and other sports jersey retailers and have had zero luck at finding anywhere to buy a LeBron back in black jersey. Does the team no longer sell these? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

(Assuming you already all know what I'm talking about being Heat fans, but if not, see below)

Those were only worn during the 2012 season and limited edition jerseys are already hard to get. I had to look pretty hard this year to buy one of the Hardwood Classic Heat jerseys they wore last season, so I can see how it'd be hard for jerseys worn two seasons ago.

Yeah you'd probably have to scour eBay to find one. The good news is an almost identical jersey (though previously emblazoned with HEAT as opposed to MIAMI) has been sold as a fashion jersey for several seasons now, so there's a good chance you'll find one like it soon enough.

Thanks for the help guys. I think these are one of the best jerseys in the league. Didn't even realize they dropped them last season. I'd consider the White Hot edition, but I never buy anything all white that can get noticeably dirty.

the miami heat official store just had a sale so I'm assuming that's why they don't have anymore. Don't worry tho, I was looking for these last season too (2012-13). They came out in the 2011-12 season but the official store had a restock once the season started last year. I would just wait til the season starts

are you trying to get the swingman? or the authentic version? The swingman isn't shimmery like that authentic

I probably wouldn't ever pay for an authentic and wear one. I'd probably get one to have it signed by a legend and framed. A swingman would do fine! :D

Don't want to derail this thread, but yeah, that was always absurdly silly. The argument was they cheated because they agreed to go to the same team. Unbelievable that people were pretending to believe players never discuss winding up on the same team. As a Heat fan I loved hearing that one, though. Resorting to such a pathetically lame attack made it so clear how hopeless opposing fans felt post-Decision.

other players discuss it (ie chris paul/dwight) too bad their teams that they want to go on don't have the brains to pull it off.
