Okay, as far as excuses for bad seasons go, a spinal tumour ain't an adenoid.

yep, I think it's fair to give him a pass on his relatively poor season now that we have this info.

9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Clearly a systemic issue with the Blue Jays. We should fire whoever is putting benign tumours into our players spines.

Oh, if only we had a strong manager who wouldn't take this kind of ****. Tumours just don't respect Gibbons' clubhouse presence.

Actually, I think Gibby did know about the tumour but decided a relaxed attitude about it would be better than actually acknowledging it and having it removed. He didn't want to upset the zen like team chemistry by making it an issue.

Next week we'll find out Josh Johnson is suffering from gigantism due to all of the nerve tonic he started drinking this year.

So did that torn meniscus turn into a tumor or did he have meniscus problems too?

Yeah, but Bautista is the supposed to be the captain of the team; he needs to be more vocal in order to keep these tumours in check.

What's his excuse for not even bringing a magician into the clubhouse? Smile and the world smiles with you?

Fire Gibby. Clearly he just doesn't get it.
