Post#1 » by charlie121 » Sat Sep 7, 2013 9:57 pm

Just saw this list of the top 10 most expensive ticket prices for each NFL team in 2013: http://bit.ly/1dR6zxc

1. New England Patriots
2. New York Giants
3. New York Jets
4. Dallas Cowboys
5. Chicago Bears
6. Baltimore Ravens
7. Washington Redskins
8. Philadelphia Eagles
9. Houston Texans
10. Indianapolis Colts

Are you guys surprised that any of these teams made the top ten? I didn't think the Colts would be there...

Its a silly list because its face value of tickets. I'm trying to go to a Packers game in a month and the cheapest tickets I can find are ~$248/.

Yeah the aftermarket prices are what should really matter. My brother-in-law has Browns season tickets but sells 5-6 of the games for at least double their value every year. Even when they're terrible they still command serious inflation.

The Colts benefit from having no direct competition for the Indy sports dollar. The Pacers have enough clout of their own and only start playing once the Colts are half done. No baseball, no hockey except minor leagues, no college football really either. Plus that stadium is beautiful and very fan-friendly. Second best in the league to Dallas of the places I've been, and I've been to CLE, CIN, PIT, BAL, IND, CHI, MIN, BUF, PHI (the Vet), WAS, TB, ATL, DAL, SF, and the old Giants Stadium.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game
