Yep, that will work. FFDL does the following
Winner = 0 balls, so basically picks last.
All other playoff teams = 1 ball
(Top) non-playoff teams = 3 balls
Bottom 3&4 = 5 balls
Bottom 1&2 = 8 balls

Not too sure about how this would work for replacement managers though. If it were a straight replacement like OldNo7 now, then it would be the previous manager's ranking ... but what happens if there are 2 replacements?

That went easier than last year's manager search. I was getting ready to invite Poppa Kaz next haha.

It would be funny if Corey doesn't make the playoffs.

Maybe it was because Sett didn't put Franklin on your roster when he was on waivers earlier this season....

Just kidding of course

Surprised you essentially chose Enny Romero over Tanaka, Kaz.

Complete oversight to be honest.

I was hoping there would be a better option with the first waiver pick with all the September callups. Here's to hoping he follows the same path as David Price...

might be interesting to see what those with the #1 WW priority used them on over the last few years.

In 2011, I used it on Chris Sale after Shane dropped him for some inexplicable reason :) .. no regrets!

I think I had it in 2012 and this year. I wanna say I grabbed Cingrani and promptly traded him to Chach this offseason.

I used the #1 on Darvish two seasons ago and will likely use this year's on Tanaka, unless Abreu gets into a good situation. I didnt have #1 last year, but I picked up Ryu with my pick. Im going to have an all Asian rotation pretty soon. lol

Had I not been so foolish I would've saved the waiver spot and grabbed Tanaka.

I was really hoping that the Astros would call up Appel and I could nab him, sigh.

Ty dropped Sale because his arm was supposed to fall off and never did. There's still hope, though.

Congrats to the Commish on 2 championships in 3 years! 144 wins, all for nothing. Gotta love the playoffs. Congrats man, see you in the ship next year.

Thanks Ty... actually thought about going for the future after Mauer/Pujols went down and Longoria, Pence, Verlander and Felix all started slumping late in the season. The bye was huge for me just to wait it out. Surprised how the team came together in the end... with a little (too much?) help from the old waiver wire.

Wouldn't be surprised if I get knocked out early in the playoffs next year tho. Aging core.

Welp, with the offseason trades are reopened and we will be welcoming in OldNo7.
