The euro game is too jump shot centric for someone like val. The guards aren't good at feeding big men at all.

I wish LTU tried to play more on the perimeter than trying to have JV force his way to the basket.

This. I wish D- Mo would play more minutes.

Who's worse -Kleisa or Turkoglu?

Turkoglu and it's not even close.

Kleiza will inevitably have a 20+ pt game. He's a streaky shooter... I just hate how LTU tries to run the offence through him at times.

D-Mo is a good intangibles player... he can suck if he forces his offense. Needs to focus on the smaller things like rebounding, running the floor, etc.

I haven't followed all teams but Kristic looks like the best C followed by Gasol. The thing about Gasol is that his entire team is so good that it makes him look good too although Krisitic is like the only real good player in Serbia. Antic has his moments too but he's a 3 pt shooter.

Maciulis has bad habit fouling 3pt jumpshooters. That's like 3d time he did it.

And Seibutis needs serious basketball IQ improvement. Great hustle but his decisions can be so dumb sometimes.

Excatly! He's been the best center in euroleague for like 2-3 years in a row.. it's just too easy for him... no clue why he left the NBA.

Lavrinoviches are playing so much better than JV this game. Dunno what has happened to him, he used to be a lotf better half a year ago. Now he's just trying to go 1v1 with the opponents, they double team him and he just fails. Been happening pretty much all games in this EU champ.

On those PnRs kick it to the open 3 pt shooter rather than trying to force it inside to JV in a clogged paint. JV attracts defenders and can add value that way.

If LTU can't build a 10 pt lead on a worse then they will be in a position to be upset.

I dunno either, but I think he'll be just fine, when the real games begins(quaterfinals etc.)... he just needs to relax and get his **** together.

Random stat.... D-Mo plays 15+ min, team wins. Same with Val. It's just that easy, Kazlauskas.

These games are pretty real... all high intensity. Seems like every possession is a grind.

Remember that the +/- is a big deal later on so every team has an incentive to run up the score. So I can't see teams just coasting. If Montenegro loses this game then their tournament is over. And if LTU loses then they can have complications advancing too considering the +/- dynamics.

European basketball is a guard orientated game and Kalneitis is good but he's like a hybrid SG/PG so its tough for the team to get anything going. I feel like they should focus more on getting open 3s and use guys such as JV and D-Mo to crash the boards.

NBA centers have great FIBA tournaments all the time. Can't blame Euro game or guards for all, some bigs are just underperforiming.

I don't disagree with playing D-Mo and JV more but that is like a 3 game sample size lol. And D-Mo didn't play at all against Serbia (toughest opponent in the group) so it skews the stat. Anyone would look better playing more against teams such as Latvia.

No he played 3minutes and that **** kazlauskas yanked him off after his one miss or a turnover..smh. How dumb is that? I hope he learned a lesson after he gave D-mo more minutes.
