Felix Hernandez will not make his scheduled start against the Houston Astros on Wednesday as he deals with a stiff back.
Hernandez already had his start pushed back after leaving his Sept. 2 outing with some cramping in his lower back.
The 26-year-old is 12-9 with a 3.01 ERA and 200 strikeouts. He is currently third in the American League in strikeouts and fourth in innings pitched.
