Washington could very well stuff Philly's run game.. then you'd be right in the money.

Advice to my question above to Mia?

I think it's only a matter of time before Vereen gets the heavier load, should be sooner than later. Depending on what your waiver wire looks like, you can improve on Ridley for sure. I still love Bell, Bush is gonna get a heavy work load early and I think they'll need to rest him...Bell will be that guy getting extra snaps (two TD's yesterday and I had him on my bench  )

Vereen had wrist surgery, he's out for a couple weeks at least. That should clear up the Patriots backfield more.

Yeah.. Bell is available in my league.. I lost this week maybe I can snag him.

Also yup looks like Vereen is going to be out for a few weeks so I'll just stand pat there even though he might be a dud this week going up against the Jets Run D <<<BTW was it really that good or did Tampa's O-line stink?

That line is LEGIT. Richardson is a problem and Wilkerson is one of the best linemen in the league. They're gonna smother a lot of teams right off the line work. If you add that Rex was mixing in 4-3's too...they've got a legit D that's more questionable in the secondary than anything. I'd say the best RB's against them will be the ones that can catch the ball when matched with LB's because our coverage LB's aren't truly coverage LB's.

So I lose in this free league unless, A. Johnson blows up, but I'm money in my moneys.
Thank you, Jared Cook!!!

Also, don't know if you guys noticed, but nobody ran the ball all that well yesterday...it's week 1, fellas.

So hermano... I sit on Ridley and plug him in my #2 now that Vereen is hurt for a few weeks?

I'd like to make a power move by dealing Rodgers and downgrading slightly since there seems to be good value at the QB position.

And Cincy needs to realize Bernard is the more dynamic runner... stop with this law firm stuff.

I don't think you have choice, hope that Rid blows up in the next few weeks so maybe you can sell high, because Vereen looked damn good...busted paw and all. The Pats always go with the hot hand, last year they rode Rid, but Vereen made the leap this year. The Bengals also look like a full-blown RBBC. But like I said, bro...it's week 1.

If you think you can trade A.Rod and get a viable QB and a more stable RB, it's worth exploring for sure. Good news for you, Pryor was looking for DMC plenty...so he can put up some good #'s while healthy.

I just need one more fantasy point from Gates in the 2nd half to win. I'm literally down by .5...and all the other guy's players are finished playing. He had McCoy playing today while I had RGIII and Gates. It's been such a close fight, considering the other dude's projected to beat me by a lot. Victor Cruz pulled through for me yesterday.

Ended up blowing dude out by 31 with huge games from Andre Johnson and Owen Daniels. Vick had me worried a bit.

btw Ibraheim, while Megatron didn't have a good fantasy game, he looked great and unfortunately had one td called back which was a garbage call.

That's reassuring.

I'm thinking of making a move...

Trading Rodgers and my two New England running backs for Stafford and one of the guy I'm trading with RB's.. he's got Gore, Martin, and Sjax. He would get a slight upgrade at QB and I'd get the headache of having to decide between Ridley and Vereen every week.

Or I can pick up one of the free agent RB's the Gints are working out... then trade the Patriot tandem for 1 lower tier starting RB.

What do you make of this?

With Vereen's injury, I hope you didn't make this deal. Stick with Ridley and Rodgers for now. That deal will be there in week 4, if necessary.

Too bad both of my paid leagues didn't count week 1 (because we drafted Thursday night right after the Ravens-Broncos game). Would have been 1-0 in both of my leagues.

No I hadn't even started making offers yet. I was just trying figure things out. I'm a little hesitant to start Ridley this week though but I don't have any good alternatives.

Mccoy, Vernon Davis and Jay Cutler got him halfway to a W. He also had Vincent Jackson and Frank Gore. It's a solid team but he needed some huge performances to barely scrape by.

Idk if I wanna trust Lamar Miller this week as my flex. He was terrible last week but at the same time the Colts suck against the run.

Tampa is playing a bad defensive team, I think New Orleans.. I got Vincent Jackson as my 2Wr but have Mike Willams on the bench as well. May use him as my flex instead. Idk yet.

Won my first week and was 3rd overall. Guy I beat was 5th so it was a nice early win. I also have TY Hilton, bur can't play and root for him while he is versing my dolphins haha, plus their D is top notch this year.

The Dolphins O-Line was non existent last game against the Browns. The Browns also have a sneaky good run defense, very underrated. I think Miller will get a chance to do his thing against the Colts.

Hey guys,

First time doing fantasy football here. I did a lot of research before the draft so that helped, and I did some work on the waivers, and here's what I ended up with:

QB: Colin Kaepernick
QB: Russell Wilson
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Julio Jones
WR: Julian Edelman (waiver guy...dropped Chris Ivory)
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Marshawn Lynch
TE: Tony Gonzalez
R/W/T: Darren McFadden
K: Stephen Gostkowski
Def: Houston Defense

BN: Eric Decker (WR)
BN: Steve Smith (WR)
BN: Cecil Shorts (WR)
BN: Alex Smith (QB)
BN: Jordan Cameron (TE picked him up and dropped Mark Ingram I think)
BN: Joique Bell (RB picked him up for Knowshon Mereno)

Anyway, that's my team. Some notable free agents are: Kellen Winslow, Brian Hartline, Marlon Brown, Fred Jackson, Jerome Simpson, Matt Schaub and Andre Roberts. I also would like help with figuring out what my starting line-up should be, or if I should make trades or what-not. I don't know anything about matchups. Also, I got destroyed by 60 points in my first match-up. Peyton Manning wrecked my team, and then he added in Reggie Bush, Larry Fitzgerald, Matt Forte and Aaron Rodgers.
