Every player isn't going to breakout. I don't see why you're trying to rub in the fact that Melo didn't pan out.

Sorry. It was not my intention to rub it in your face. We were debating the prospects of Fab Melo turning into a solid pro last year. Two major events regarding that debate occurred last week.

There were signs that this kid wasn't ready/mature enough for the league. A couple of scouts even calling him the single worst player in last year's Summer League. (Never a good sign for a first round pick.)

Time will tell if he's able to come back from this.

Looks like Fab Melo has been invited to training camp for the Dallas Mavericks. But, it's my understanding that they currently have 15 players already under contract.

Obviously, that will greatly temper his chances of making their team...
