Trade 8:
Toronto in:
Jeff Green: 8,700,000 / 9,200,000 / 9,200,000 P
Marshon Brooks: 1,210,080 / 2,179,354 T
=9,910,080
Boston in:
Demar Derozan: 9,500,000 / 9,500,000 / 9,500,000 / 9,500,000
Toronto accepts. Derozan's contract is way too large and too long for my liking, and I'm a Jeff Green fan, so thanks Boston, let's do it again sometime!

Boston accepts. For me, it's about who is more overpaid and who is a better fit with the team I have now. I'm not a Jeff Green fan, and in general tweener forwards just aren't my thing. DeRozan's probably overpaid by about $2 million per year, but at least has the potential to outperform his contract in the long-run. I also like the fit next to Rondo and Avery Bradley. I never really cared much for Brooks, either.

I like Thornton as a scorer and Jason Thompson as a 3rd big, but Deng provides some of the better defense you'll see in the NBA, and I need some of that on this team. Thanks Chicago!

Cleveland confirms. Again, I am rolling the dice as AV has a history of being a stud - 2009 2nd team all NBA defense. However, we're 5 years and a bunch of injuries removed. Robin Lopez had a break out year with New Orleans and established a defensive presence with very little experience around him. Monte Williams praised his play and leadership. In Thomas Robinson, we acquired a tremendous prospect who has the NBA PF body and an innate ability to rebound. We think this is great support to our #1 pick - Anthony Bennett - who may have to establish whether he is a SF or PF (and gives us Options). Finally, Will Barton was the only bright spot off the Blazers Bench in 2012-13 and had all the pressure to score and make plays at the defensive end. He has great handles- can play the SG and SF at both ends and will prove to be a much more effective score in the flow of a solid second team vs carrying the load he was asked to in his rookie season. The guy can Score.
It was tough to move AV - Not so much Gee - who decidedly does not rhyme with D - but it was great dealing with you Oden2. Good luck.

The Celtics and Bobcats have agreed to a trade.
Boston Trades/Charlotte Receives:
Gerald Wallace - $10,105,855
Kelly Olynyk - $1,986,360
Total: 12,092,215 x 1.25 = $15,115,268
Charlotte Trades/Boston Receives:
Al Jefferson - 13,500,000
I am really afraid of how Kelly's game is going to translate into the NBA. While he killed it in summer league, I still don't have much of a feel for the position that he will be playing or whether or not he fits in as a key player on a championship level team. Since Wallace is overpaid and on the decline, my goal was to capitalize on Olynyk's high value. While it might come back to haunt me, I think that Jefferson gives me more options for trades. I will be looking to move him, because I want a team that is good on defense rather than offense. Also, I feel he got about market value on his contract and can put my team in the playoffs in conjunction with Rondo, DeRozan and Bradley.
EDIT: Math added.

I edited the deal so thst Charlotte got the cash and pick.
I'm sure it was just a typo that this is not how it was originally entered.
We in Charlotte belive Lowry + Vasquez Toronto 2014 1st > Kemba. We feel we can live without Sessions and Hendo.
Good dealing Biz.
