2 kind of baskets:
1) pass to JV near the basket (props to his team mates also) and he just converts it with such an ease. Was beutiful to watch
2) offensive hustle (not necessary a rebound) for a loose ball and just easy bucket after

JV was mode than solid today, especially at offensive end

Surprised that Belgium made it this far, suppose they were lucky to be in the weak Group A. Their offense is so stagnant and they don't shoot well. They are shooting 22% FGs, which you have to credit LTU, but still, that's horrible.

I hope LTU utilizes their interior strength. It helps to open the perimeter and the bigs can usually shoot over the Belgians inside. It would make sense to start JV, or at least re-insert him into the lineup asap. He's quietly played good defense that isn't in the boxscore. He scared the driving guards on at least 2 occasions forcing them to try tough shots.

So for the record, after today, Jonas will be LTU's 2nd or 3rd leading scorer, leading rebounder, leading shot blocker, leading foul-drawer and most efficient player.. while averaging about 18 minutes per game

Yea but when there are 100 EuroBasket games it is inevitable that there will be flukes. Simple probabilities. Its like the Raptors beating the Celtics... given 4 or more tries against the Heats, Knicks, Pacers, Thunder, etc. inevitably you will beat the good teams.

If a bad team has a good shooting night and a good one shots poorly then anything is possible.
