Awful. This is the kind of **** that makes players want to leave. A year without CL football because of an administration mistake

stupid mistake but hardly a big deal, niang wasn't going to get much pt outside of garbage time anyways.

Still a bitch of a group. Arsenal with Ozil will be very dangerous and you know they'll throw everything they have into the matchups with Dortmund. The fat Spanish waiter is great at getting things horrible wrong at the worst times, but he does make his clubs tough to beat in cup competitions and they do still have good talent for Hamsik to work with. So there may not be a Real Madrid in their group this year, I think both arsenal and Napoli could put up more of a fight than Citeh did last year.

M'Baye Niang will not be allowed to play CL this year because Milan set El Shaarawy on the A-list although he was eligible to the B-List as well. I think Niang was only eligible to A-list since he isn't playing so long for Milan yet.

Poor guy and perfectly sums up what is going on at Milan these days.

Hyppia vs Moyes tonight, eh?
Merseyside Derby - in Manchester, lol, couldn't get much better for LFC fans.
And I for one am pretty sure Mancs won't win tonight.

I think Hyypia would be happy if his players don't fight for Giggs' autograph let alone get a result at OT.

Bayer Leverkusen is the only team that beat Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena last season. If you underestimate them you are going to burn your fingers.

That said, if United play well they will beat Leverkusen at home.

United have been quite ... eh... mediocre so far. No need to treat them like European superstars. In Europe they've actually been quite mediocre for two seasons.
Even under Ferguson
Leverkusen will run one counter attack after another, they're technically gifted and have a prolific striker in Kießling. They're definitely gonna score tonight.

They lost Schürrle. Castro is injured, Bender is returning from injury but probably not 100%. They can't really compensate those loses adequately.

Lets not expect too much from Leverkusen. At least not as long as Rolfes and Reinartz are sure too start CL games.

Oh Sami, Sami, Sam, Sam, Sam, Sami Hyypiä. United are in a tricky group with Shaktar & Sociedad as well. I hope there's an option of just watching Moyes grimace all game.

Castro is injured? Okay, didn't know, not good.
Schürrle had one good season in his entire career (not for Lev.), only Chelsea would overpay for him like they did. Son is a very, very... very good replacement.
Bender will be fine.
Leverkusen and Hyppiä love their counter attacks, it's all about the tactics. Give them an early lead (which they don't need tonight) and they'll even sit back and wait for counter attacks at home against Braunschweig. They know how to work against the ball, 2nd best BL defense last season.
Let's put them in a nutshell: Counter-attacking masters, finished 1 point behind Dortmund in the league last season, Kießling is among the 3 best strikers in Germany, technically gifted attacking players with Sam and Son.
Plus, experienced defensive master Hyppiä.

Kagawa starts! More of a 3-4-1-2 kind of formation or just Smalling playing right back in a 4-2-3-1

Leverkusen - United will be interesting. Haven't seen United this season so far, but Bayer looks good. They could be a darkhorse in the Bundesliga against Bayern and Dortmund.... well, very dark, almost pitch-black, but still. Let's see if they can keep this close vs. Manchester. No Bender really hurts them and the back four are not CL material, but the offense with Sam, Son and Kießling is really good.
